The dramas he was in got lower ratings. This may have affected what roles he's given. Likewise, he may not be signed to a strong agency. His highest rated series lately is Blossoms in Adversity but now he's in a short series. I too was surprised at what happened to his career.

I FF the last 3 episodes as the hiding the "secret" is getting boring since he was on the verge of getting married. I hope we get more into the intrigue and plan of the various factions of the evil side, as well as the aftermath of FL finding out the truth.

Yes, you could say that based on your preference. I'll still finish FSMM, just slowly vs. other series. I watch and have enjoyed all of the FL's series. This one was slower to pick up vs. all of her other series, but then I'm an action person so I'm hoping the action picks up more as I move along.

Fox Spirit Matchmaker for sure. It's a shame FSM didn't have a stronger villain and that the story was still meandering along by episode 18 where a lot of people gave up on it. I'll still finish it but slowly.

Most of the costume dramas slow down in the middle and then build to a crescendo at the end. If you watch these, you just have to be patient or fast forward through the middle. You'll still get the gist of things using FF.
