Even this supposed "live" video show him and he doesn't have that abnormally narrow face for him. You can also tell it has photoshopping-type technology as he doesn't have a single line on his face or neck.

Ep 10. Poor second ML. He must see the FL as a refreshing respite from the intensity of his mother's expectations of him. The stakes are so high and the pressure immense.

People have a right to complain if that is how they feel. They don't need to "get a life." After all, the male lead, knowing how his family was innocent and his family/friends were killed tried to do the same thing to the innocent FL many times with no remorse or thought for her life. Having said that, if you are going to watch these types of C-dramas, you have to look past the viciousness of the ML as this is one of the tropes in some of the C-dramas and the ML's always redeem themselves in the end. I'm enjoying the series so far.

After The Great Ruler, I expected him to break out in lead roles in costume dramas but it wasn't meant to be. I keep reminding myself that there is 1.412 billion people in China vs. 333.3 million in the United States; thus, it's much harder for bright, new, talented actors to move up the line in China.

I agree. This was the most divisive comments section in awhile. The story definitely moves slower than other dramas and is repetitive as you mentioned. I may catch up on Fast Forward, lol.

I'm only on ep 17 so I'm not totally up to date on where the drama is going but I was surprised by the tone change in the comments page in just one day, lol.

These type of series always add another male or female to create 'angst' between the main couple. People using crude language to rile people up on MDL should be ignored. They are not worth your time in giving them a platform to spread nonsense.

Agree. It's not an S+ drama but has more going on than a lot of them. I'm truly enjoying all the action, plot, mystery, etc. I'm surprised as well that the rating is not higher.

He clearly was poor to begin with and holds a grudge about what happened to his family so I think you're right about his plan. As the masked man, he showed a softer side to the girl he likes and let her know his Mom couldn't be buried anywhere else but in the forest.
