I am confused it says Ceasar Wu in credits but, that guy dont look like Ceasar Wu from The Generals Lady, Am I…
This series doesn't appear to have all of the beautiful filters that his previous series had that soften, slim, refine images. A good example of this is how Xu Kai Cheng looked in the series, Dance of the Phoenix and then how he looked a year later in A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College.
I still cant get used to these sudden drama premieres that just come out of nowhere.
I'd rather have that then when I signed up to WeTV in September 2022 and they had no Wuxia/Xianxia/Historical series of note between then and summer 2023. I cancelled my subscription for the upcoming year. It's interesting that this came out before Kunning Palace.
I mostly watch costume dramas and a few republican era series. ZZH's series have always been my favorites and I re-watch them from time to time. All of us fans are dreaming along with you that he will be cast in upcoming dramas in the near future.
ZZH's comeback has already been in progress; however, in a different venue, music. He has an upcoming concert, see above info. Although we all await the day of his return to acting, at least there is something to tide us over in the meantime.
According to Marcus (link), rumored Malaysia tour 9/17/23 in Primordial Theater, Kuala Lumpur. VVIP package includes a personal photo take with ZZH. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq4oTvFZWSw
Thank you all for your recommendations! The Princess' Man could be really my taste. I already watched the korean…
I loved The Princess' Man as well. For depth of story, you might also try Six Flying Dragons. It's a fascinating story and, like TPM, it has aged well. KA has all of the eps.
is it just me or the male lead is moving a bit like a robot? I like his acting don't get me wrong but whenever…
Most of the costume dramas I've seen from China all portray their generals this way. Leo Wu in Love Like The Galaxy is a good example. Great series but the generals are portrayed rather stiff.
