He was the most compelling character in the series though and really brought his A game to this title.

I lasted until episode 5 and then dropped it. There just wasn't enough there to hold my interest and there were so many other C-dramas to watch.

She calms down a lot in later episodes. The slap stick stuff kind of falls flat in the beginning but the plot takes center stage after awhile and the story gets interesting.

Also, Dylan's acting was top notch; however, I think part of the problem with his other series, Miss The Dragon, was that the costumers didn't know how to dress him. He looked pale and washed out in the other series. Dylan shines better in a darker color palette in my opinion and they def knew how to dress him in this current series.

I keep re-watching part of ep 35 where he flashes in and flashes out again. That has to be the best hot kiss of 2022.

The first half was like Ming-Lan, a slice-of-life drama. In the second half, that is where the ML's story comes into play and we get more plot, action and inter-action between the leads, with a surprise twist to the story. The series paid off in the end in my view.

FL is not as strong as the males in martial arts and is sidelined a bit; however, she ends up with the plot point that is the most important to the storyline later on so hang in there.
