It is just my guessing but I know every channel has their standard about love scenes, I remember for example watching an interview of a "boss" of GMM saying that gmmtv will never do really hot sexy love scenes, they prefer to show very mild love scene because they are kind of a family friendly channel. (And this is for both straight and gay couples) then there is LINE TV that have no restrinction being a streaming service so can show everything. I don't know mello thailand, I know it's an app but I heard it is from some thai channel and maybe the rules of that channel are kinda similar to GMM rules ..

I heard that the love scene was cut, like a lot of cut and both the actors and directors are not happy about it... . I hate this kind of stuffs, if you know you can't show more than something just why to let them shoot it in the first place?

I kind of agree with you. The fact is that, in my opinion, this one is not exactly a good writer... each one of the couple is full on cliché and the thing that annoys me the most is that with basically no one of the love story we have a backstory of how and when they started to have feeling for each other. We know they started but we never actually see that or why so it's hard to believe in it (this was especially annoying for me in the first season when phana was also a diç@@ so it makes no sense that wayo loves him...) Also Ming when and how he started to have feelings for Kit? He just says that. And Forth and Beam, how can we know that they are friends and they share a connection and affection because of that if we not see them talking not even one time before the drunk scene? Saying one thing is not enough to make us viewers/readers believe in that, it's kind of an easy way to go straight to the point you want.

Anyway I still like this serie because the actors make me believe in their feelings when in first season this never happen to me so I'm ok with this, this is the perfect summer serie, not so deep but fun to watch and enjoyable.

Can I say that I think that the Forth Beam love scene does not make so much sense? Yeah I love it it was amazing and the actors were great but still, how did they get there xD ? It was kinda random. I still ship them tough cause they are sooo adorable together. This cast is so good.

I agree about Off and Gun. I love the actors and I love them together but I never really shipped them. It's like theyre lacking in romantic chemistry, I never feel a romantic vibe3 between them when for example a simple stare of Singto and Krist make me imagine them married together for all the love I see xD
And yes, it would have been a better BL with more comedy in it, not that I think its bad but it could have been a really good one with a good portion of humor throughout the whole serie (something like he's coming to me that was for me a perfect combination of angst and comedy)

Actually the author of the book was really unhappy with season one and she didnt wanted to be involved in it . Tis is the season where she really take part of everything, especially casting and how the actors should play the parts

I agree and as I said I love the story as a realistic serie. But as a realistic serie I dont think happy ending really fit in this case. Off and Gun already duid a dramatic couple in puppy honey, they were not exactly cute and sweet.

That is you opinion, I agree Godt is hot but can't act so all his charme disappears for me. I prefer a cute not handsome guy that can act and understand the charachter. About Bas I know I'm in the minority cause many adore him but for me is probably the most unattractive guy that ever acted in a BL so for sure I prefer Earth that I find adorable
Then that the other 2 coples actors are more handsome/more interesting I think we all agree on that xD

I honestly loved puppy honey season one. Not because of the love story but because it was for me a smart an lighthearted story of friendship and love for animals. I dont think he needed a sequel but they did it and I hated it, no more friendhip no more lighthearted comedy just unnecessary drama. Second season only good thing is offgun for sure but still that serie was a big disappointment

exactly. I am still happy thet they choose Off and Gun for the part because they are doing a really good job with the charachters but I would have preferred to see them as main and couple in a light hearted comedy, not a big drama like this one, in Puppy Honey we had already enough drama and in the end the charachters in here are not so distant from them
