I agree, I don't think sotus needed a sequel, a little movie like our sky was the perfect idea but Sotus is still the biggest bl ever so they wanted to make more money than they can and basically the author had to write a sequel in a few months.. and you can see that, the book is good even uf not perfect and as I said you totally understand arthit charachter because he is the protagonist, pkus there are not side couples like in the serie nor so many office stuffs, they added a lot just for make a longer serie... and another thing that went missing is that in the novel its implied that they meet each other parents and be accepted, that was such a good thing to show in the serie but they prefer to add bad written side couples and more commercials...

Sotus S was such a big mistake... I can't say I hated it cause Kong and Arthit has still some really good parts but overall I prefer to think as our sky is the real and only sequel of sotus. I did not know that dark blue kiss will have the same director, lets hope it will be the saving of the serie for real (but still I love Newwie but he and Tawan together bore me to death)

Kiss me and kiss me again are in the worst list of thai series xD they are terrible, in the writing, in the acting, in everything.... I honestly dont have so much hope in dark blue kiss even if ill watch too( the secondary couple seems interesting... seems..) did you watch sotus? I think sotus was the real start for thai bl series to become bigger and better. Its not perfect in the directing or cinematography or sound but acting wise is really good and the story also. After three years of the airing its still my favourite bl

You can't compare to Korea. Korea is the USA of Asia about tv serie and movies, they have big budget and big star.
About the number of episodes I think it has to do with the channel. GMMTV do a lot of serie (this year more than 10) so it's natural that did not last so much more, or they cannot air all the serie. But thai series can be much longer, I remember Part Time for example that was like 30 episodes and it's just an example.

jpny01 well, I agree that thai bl have often not such good actors but I don't think theory of love is one of them, Gun especially is one of the best actors in GMM.
Btw did you watched the firsts thai bl? Like Lovesick or Make it right? In the year that has passed (Lovesick season 1 aired in 2014 ) thai bl has becoming better and better,in acting and productions and I'm sure they will continue improving. Even kissing was not a thing in thai bl once xD
Anyway, Thai series seems basically always done with not so much money and it's because it's true... they are not China or Korea or Japan that have big budget and a very big audience, Thailand is opening to internationals fans basically just because of BL so it's since a couple of years ago or so. But as I said they are getting better and better and I'm honestly so glad about it, even the stories that as you said were kinda similar and clichè are starting to change, this year we had he's coming to me and soon until we meet again that is also a different kind of story and even this one for me is different from the usual bl plot and with many interesting thing inside (for me at leats that I'm a fan of movie and cinematography)

They could do something like in the first season of sotus where krist should have been a lot shorter than singto but he isn't so basically singto had always heels on the shoes and krist... basically no shoes xD
But I guess this could became a bit difficult and boring to do every time (in sotus s too they did not care at all anymore)
I agree seeing phana not so tall is strange , they maybe should have done something more to cover this but I guess they preferred to focus on other stuffs.

She is one of the worst female charachters ive seen in a Bl and this says much... like girl you flirted with your STUDENT the whole season and now youre crying that your boyfriend is a dick?? Don't you see that you did exactly the same when you have to MARRY? This couple is awful, I need more An and Too

I'm starting to think that I would accept with no problems a sad ending for Kai and Third. I know they'll for sure end up together but, for how the story is written, I feel like they don't belong to each others, like if destiny is against them and keep on make them suffer and hurt each other and I don't think thi will stop in the future so I would really love a realistic kind of bittersweet ending where they decide tht even if they love each other it's the best for them to not be together. (ok, I'm seeing this in a realistic prospective, I know this is a serie) I know many people think as this story as too much angst and dramatic but I'm actually liking this serie a lot, not as a bl (I don't ship so much Kai and Third) but as a story, and I think the story for bl standard is really interesting and original, I'm glad to see something different and the acting is really on point and so the music the cinematography and yes, overall.

The only real problem I have is the straight love story... was it really necessary? Somethimes straight love story in bl are good somethimes are terrible but this one is of the worst kind: the unnecessary and boring kind. The couple has no chemistry not an interesting story plus the woman is a terrible charachter, she basically flirt with a student when she has a boyfriend and have to marry, I was like WTF ??? Give me back pond and chanaim, we need more straight story like that one in bl, IF we have to had a straight love story (and its a bl, I don't see actually the point)

As I said I will be totally ok with a sad ending for the main cause for me it kind of makes sense but PLEASE OH PLEASE GMMTV GIVE ME AN AND TWO TOGETHER xDDD I would have never expected that one day I would have ship Earth and White together but I DO so please GMM give them a happy and satisfying ending, not an open one like you'll always do with side couples....

Yes I agree Phana is more cute than handsome and basically every other seme is more handsome than him but he totally fits the charachter in my opinion and he gave Phana the humanity and deep he needed so I'm totally ok with it . Wayo for me is really really adorable so I'm fine with him too, especially because the first wayo was well kinda unattractive for my taste... please bas lovers do not kill me xD
Kit for me is totally perfect . The best casting choice in the show I love his acting too, like phana he totally owns the charachter for me.

Friend Zone had a great start and great potential but fir me get lost halfway and ended up in the worst possible way for every charachters. Its like they didnt had the guts to really develop what they started

I said that since the first announcement of recasting... we are all crawing for bl and if the content is good (or in this case better than the original, not such a difficult thing in my opinion) every one that were crying and be also mean to the new actors will basically forgetvfirst season .... that is how the web work ... the ones that take the choice to recast knows tis too I guess and I'm so happy cause I finally have the 2moons I wanted to see 2 years ago

Yes the vote is for sure because of the angry fangirls and fanboys that give one witouth watching not even a minute... it is fun cause I read a lot of comment saying I was q big fan of season one and so angry but I tried this and I prefer this now... tjis is for real objectively better, I can't anymore with crazy fans

I heard they did the kiss three timed but the director choose the first shoot cause it looked more natural *_* I agree with this, I keep on rewatching the scene, it feels so real, and the actors are so totally into the part

I understand your point but the fact is that this is the way the author writes. Something (well lets say a lot) was missing in the serie, in the book there are a couole of mild love scenes and arthit is a lot more understandable because second book is by his point of view but in the serie sotus s they cut the love scene and all of arthit tought so he seems like he is unconfortable in being touched when its not. Tought I tbink they did a good job with the our sky episode when they really do seem a couple in love and share a lot of sweet scene. I hobestly do not liked so much sotus s the setrie how it was done so for mafter sotus for me the only sequel is our sky me the sequel
