Even watching at 2x I still FF through some scenes. If you can’t handle the difference in societal norms then how can you watch kdramas? Even 2025 airing dramas are so rooted in culture differences like in The Winning Try we still watch the most awful coach who is also so misogynistic all I can think of is slapping him and he’s an actor I actually like haha and in Law and the City it looks the pregnant lawyer is being pressured to resign because of PREGNANCY. She asked about pregnant or parental leave procedure and was met with ummm just resign. I do bite down so much hahah. I expect those things from the early dramas I watch but now I’m like fxck they still do that?

After an episode I watched at 2x speed (thank you Kocowa for that option) because I found I don’t care anymore , the preview is what elicited that sigh which was much bigger in real life.
