I started it just after the drama began so I’m reading it in any moments I have between other obligations and even have it open to read while certain dramas are airing that I find myself not glued to like Love Like Fireworks and the recently finished Ashes to Crown. I should learn to drop anything that doesn't bring me complete joy like this drama but after I start something I feel I need to see it through.
In episode 23 and so far I am finding the story intriguing although the chemstry between leads is not much. It…

lol not crucial, not stuck. I haven’t even wondered until today’s episode reminded me. I was stuck for maybe a minute. My suspension of disbelief is strong usually.

From Google concerning plot holes: “Headcanon the Gaps: Treat small narrative leaps as a puzzle to solve. Many viewers build personal, internal logic (or headcanon) to explain away minor hiccups rather than getting stuck on them.“
Well I hadn’t let my question marinate before I posted hahah Today I learned the term “headcanon.”🤪😂🤷🏼♀️
Unclear. Prob somebody came by the academy gates to give it to her. She could have said same thing she said before…
Very unobservant of the edict deliverer then since even so things seemed “off” and wasn’t he questioned upon return? I can imagine that conversation since usually the edit bearer is treated like the king himself. Seems like the ED would’ve been curious. What, didn’t invite you in for tea, didn’t offer food or lodging overnight, what, saw no one else but Ye Li? Hmmmm Anyway like I said real life questions for an unreal world.🤣🤷🏼♀️ (Edited to fix a typo)
Okay. Real life stupid question. How did she receive the imperial marriage edict?
Edited to add: My question might should have been How do you think she received the edit? Since they left that out probably because A it could only be shown in a flashback to keep the ruse up so why bother or B they couldn’t write a good scenario. Not stuck on this , just thought it’d be fun to see what others say.
that was me last night! I recommend waiting for 33 to be released as well.
I discovered after I paid for express I could actually watch on my tv rather than phone or tablet. Nice surprise after I had dug out an hdmi cable hahaha
I’m reading the novel now. I’m on ch242. And I love it. If you really like the drama it’s worth a read. It’s like an alternate universe hahaha
