I hope you’re right! She needs to make a modern Chinese dish. What should it be?
“unique Korean adaptations of Chinese and Japanese-Chinese dishes”
“Korean Black Bean Noodles (Jajangmyeon) Jjajangmyeon was created in the early 1900s by Chinese migrant workers, primarily from the Shandong region, who settled in Incheon, Korea. They adapted the Chinese noodle dish zhajiangmian by adding a sweeter, richer black bean sauce to suit Korean palates, making it a distinct Korean-Chinese dish known today as jjajangmyeon”
Korean Jjamppong Jjamppong was invented by Chinese immigrants in the 1940s in Nagasaki, Japan, where it was a version of Chinese chǎomǎmiàn. The dish then evolved and was brought to Korea in the 1960s, where it was adapted to Korean tastes with the addition of Korean chili flakes and a spicy, seafood-based broth
I wonder if Kings back in the day looked as good as Lee Chaemin
Google AI answer to most handsome Joseon King: “ There's no universally agreed-upon "most handsome" Joseon king, as beauty standards have changed and historical accounts are subjective. However, King Yeonsangun is sometimes described in historical records as having a youthful, slender build with white, jade-like skin, an aesthetic that would be considered beautiful by some standards, despite his negative reputation as a tyrant.”
I wonder how much this description influenced who the book this drama was based on was written about hah
Yeah korean food wasn't spicy until 16-18th century, that's why they overreact so much when they eat gochujang…
From Brazil, Portuguese merchants transported peppers to coastal regions of Africa and later to India (like Goa and Pernambuco) and Southeast Asia (Taken from Google)
Should specify which America, North , Central or South
Netflix still doesnt know how to handle kdramas. That’s also why you hear of Netflix “cancelling “ a drama…
I know that. I think the “cancelling” is just a way to clear the books so to speak. And I’m sure it’s with input from the creators. I just kinda feel now they’re trying to get input up front so they can label it a limited series so it doesn’t seem like it’s left in limbo without a S2 and I think that’s for any Western sensibilities like my sister who won’t watch something that’s been cancelled. 🤷🏼♀️🤔🤪😅😳🙄
There won't be a season 2 ,because on netflix it already says limited series...
Netflix still doesnt know how to handle kdramas. That’s also why you hear of Netflix “cancelling “ a drama after one “season” which was never intended to be more anyway.
AND he is still looking for her dad’s slush fund. He “loves” her but he is still going to steal from her.…
I’m not on Reddit anymore it’s too toxic for me. I think I will start using the (heavy sarcasm) like @Sher1264 did. It looks better and is better understood.

I thought “Gi Chan you don’t love her, you’re just missing the time when your life wasn’t imploding!”
I will miss the drama and characters though.
