I can only speak for myself but I love this show because of Chi & Wei's insane chemistry. The switching between humor and angst. The fact that there wasn't a boring episode (I tend to get bored quite quickly with BL's). There's always something happening. It's hard to explain but the main reason is definitely the main couple's chemistry.

Exactly! Like it's getting boring now with all this comparing and whatever. We're on this page now so let's focus and talk about THIS show. They're different genres and both great shows in their own way. (Obviously based on how popular both shows are and their ratings).
Let's not be petty on here. We should be grateful for all the chinese BL's we're getting! 😊

The bigger a fanbase of a show gets the more toxic people there will be. And obviously RL's fanbase is massive. It's like that with every show that gains a lot of popularity like I said.

But now I'm talking about this fanbase and page. Not Revenged Love's page. Let's not bring that show into this and make it a fanwar. I've said the same thing on that page as well before as I'm a big fan of RL. But now I'm saying this here because there's been A LOT of toxic comments in a short amount of time.

I have to say something and this is not meant to offend anyone at all.

But I think people mistake this page as a forum for fans of the show only. This is meant to be a page where you rank and review the show with your honest opinion about it. Episode after episode.

That also means that people can have a different opinion from you and that's ok! That's allowed! There's plenty of actual fan forums out there where I can understand that such opinions are less welcome. But this is not such a forum. People should be allowed to speak their honest thoughts without being literally chased away from here because of it.

It feels like some people on here get so defensive whenever someone says something even slightly negative about the show and they're met with:
"Nope you're wrong!" And "💀" or "Drop the show then and don't come back!!"

And that creates such a toxic environment. To say the least. It's a shame.

Just like with RL the bts is definitely spicier than the show itself.
That's why it's good that we get to enjoy BOTH worlds 😜

If they don't get more screentime later on when the main couple is more established? Some shows do it like that. So the main couple will step back and the 2nd couple will have more screentime instead. But who knows. It might be a bit bleak I'm afraid.

Some people here said that it was just a rumor from a fan that spread like wildfire. But people have also said that XingQiu are interested in doing more BL's together in the future. I guess we will only know if they themselves and/or their team confirm it?

I don't even want to imagine that lol.
