HR’s dejected look when HS brought the porridge boxes made me happy. Afraid that she will be reminded by SD that KS will not move on until SJ is no longer his wife and she will need to have patience and support him until he is available to date her and she will start all over again.

Ohhh…never thought of YJ egging her on to keep her out of her life. But makes sense. I wondered why all of a sudden she was as bad as her mom. You are right it is the personality of a physical abuser. If she was like this with the 2 daughters that have left her, even tho one is in Canada and they have contact, I can understand them leaving.

I know the house is the MIL’s (maybe) but she has no right to just walk in a man’s room that isn’t her husband. But I remember she did it before and he asked what if he was naked and she said that wouldn’t matter. I know he doesn’t pay anything living there but the MIL & SIL should still be not barge in and go thru his phone for no other reason than he is married to daughter/sister. MIL grabbed him by the collar, as well? I scanned thru so I missed some parts. I’m always amazed at how apologetic she is after she throws her fits. She throws a fit and gets physical with them but then begs for forgiveness. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I had a thought, in the preview scene where JH asks himself what the feeling he is feeling is, could the feeling he was talking about been for YJ and not MR? I got the feeling he likes YJ more than just a body to use when he got so upset that his dad went to see her and bought her off. But then dear old dad asked him if he still had feelings for YJ and he didn’t say anything for a moment, then ignored the question and told him MR had seen him with YJ. But we will never know if they cut that scene out unless that’s what he’s angry about in the break room.

As for her denying JH having another woman, I think MR will try her best not to hurt her mom because she will feel guilty because had it not been for her and JH engagement she will think that Sr Dong and Mom would be married now and that her mom sacrificed her happiness for her to be happy. She has no clue that Mom was actually doing a happy dance because she was being forced to marry Sr.

Maybe the wedding announcement is to force MR into admitting JH cheated on her. Since Sr Dong pushed chairman into announcing a date there will be a public announcement but then there will be a very public break-up too. MR will not be excited about planning her wedding…until it’s KS☺️…and Mom will catch on quickly.

I’m afraid even if he and JD give up because SJ wants nothing to do with them, MIL will still be holding on to KS with everything she’s got. Even tho he will always have ties with that family not only because of JD but his own feelings toward them if she lets him move on and out she loses their primary breadwinner and the family servant. I hope she will play nice but really not expecting it.

The only picture that looks like she has a husband is the one where KS is in the father position. 😂 I said my thoughts were crazy today. I just kept thinking about the posts last night and how it all so perfectly pointed back to YJ. It didn’t register that he wasn’t in Korea during that time (unless he was there with another dancer and was attracted to SJ, which would be his style, or he was just in for the weekend to visit friends and they are holding back that info). I did think that JH could be JDs dad but then thought they wouldn’t do that to KS, MR, and JD when they become a family. If she actually left Korea she had to know someone who was wealthy that financed her oversea trip or maybe like YJ she “worked” for it. Even if she never left Korea at all, if she is still alive, I think she felt she was too good for her own family and wouldn’t lower herself to go back. Like you said KS may find her in a relationship with another man who is giving her the “fancy” life she felt she deserved with or without children. But then I think how cruel that would be to JD that’s she’s been close by all this time and not given a crap about her. Whatever the reason it is not going to be good enough for JD to let go of the heartache and pining for her mom unless it’s a clean break like she is deceased . Maybe she felt so much guilt that she became a nun to absolve her feelings of guilt. I can’t see them letting a harsh biatch come in as her mother and hurt JD more than she already is. I also thought about complete amnesia but that would be hard on a teenager as well, to finally find her mother but mother won’t have a clue who she is…not that she would know anyway since she’s been gone 10 years. At least as a nun JD could go to the nunnery to visit now and then and at least know where she is. Hopefully she will have changed and will welcome JD with open arms to visit now and then but not want to be a full time mother to her. Hopefully we will find out soon where she is and why she has had no contact with anyone for 10 years.

I watched episode 2 again so I would get the feel of the conversation between KD and SJ. He takes JD to park to play after an argument with SJ and dear old MIL shows up and he asks what SJ is doing and she says she’s still in her room. KS voices his worry because she hasn’t eaten all day and his MIL asks him how she was supposed to eat because she met her friends from school and got emotionally hurt and how she (MIL guilting him) had killed herself making side dishes to send SJ to an elite school and then KS came along and bogged her down by causing her to drop out of school and give up her dream.

KS went home and told SJ that when he made a lot of money he would help her start her ballerina career. She immediately said she would study overseas (I’m sure there are great ballet schools in Korea so why overseas and more importantly who is going to finance it?). She was jealous of the girls that she met at the reunion because she said basically she was better dancer but now they are all principal dancers in ballet companies and living fancy lives (which is the life she wants) and she’s stuck living the way she is. She tells KS she is tired of the house, him, JD, everything. He asked her how she could feel that way about JD and she said her life would be different without JD. After listening, I finally figured out why she blamed KS for losing her dancing career since he’s not even the one who impregnated her. She tells him that if she hadn’t met him she wouldn’t have had JD that if she hadn’t had JD her life wouldn’t have gotten “this messy”. She tells him that he and JD dragged her down to the bottom and she shouldn’t have held his hand when he reached out to her. Then she says she’s going to leave before it’s too late. (Her thinking that always makes me laugh because she’s 25 years old and hasn’t practiced in 5 years and she thinks she can walk right in and become a principal dancer). Then she storms out leaving KS sobbing. I don’t think he’s sobbing for himself but for JD. Then he carries his sleeping child out into the night running all over looking for her.

think SJ had made up her mind that she didn’t want a baby to ruin her life so she had absolutely no plans to deliver a baby. I feel like she told KS that and he, being so tender hearted, couldn’t accept that fate for her baby so he told her he’d marry her and give the baby his name. There may have been promises made that after she had the baby she could go back to school and dancing and he’d raise JD but when the time came he couldn’t afford it and MIL was probably still mad because she worked hard for nothing so she wouldn’t help. So home girl was stuck raising a kid and in a marriage she never wanted.

I really don’t want her to come back but know she has to. She is so self centered that she can’t do anything but feel sorry for herself. She has no love or empathy for the child she carried for 9 months because she blames the baby and KS for all that has gone wrong in her life. She doesn’t deserve to have a relationship with JD period, imho. She puts the blame on two innocent people when she should have been blaming herself for putting herself in that position in the first place. I can’t even explain how distasteful I find her.

Even tho I know this ship has sailed I still think I see some common features between SJ and JH’s girlfriend especially the mouth. So what if after the reunion SJ is sitting at a bar feeling sorry for herself JH sits beside her, buys her drinks and listens to her whine about giving up dance for a baby and husband she didn’t want. He in turn suggests she go overseas where she wouldn’t be able to be found easily, change her name, and study dance again. He tells her he will finance her new life in return for future payment/favors. Since he already knew (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) about her other men maybe her payment/future favors to pay him back was “escorting” the businessmen from other companies he was doing business with to get them to sign contracts with HDF in the US and that’s why he was so successful at the American branch and why he knew she was seeing other men. In other words he pimps her out as repayment for the investment he made in her life.

While I was reading what you two had posted I kept thinking that sounds like YJ. But then I thought it can’t be. But it makes so much sense for it to be JY in that scenario. It’s driving me crazy. Just bring her back already!! 😂

Which leads me back to JH girlfriend. 😂😂😂

Thanks. I couldn’t remember. He is a saint for taking all the blame from his MIL yet staying there supporting them financially all these years.

I thought about the amnesia aspect and in a coma on life support but then the lady that JD went to see was in a “home” and had dementia so I don’t think they’d follow the same line of thinking. who knows maybe she is some fabulous dancer on a pole somewhere making tons of money! 😂😂😂

I can’t remember exactly but I think MIL held a grudge against KS because of whatever reason she thinks long lost left. I will have to go back and watch the first few episodes because now I’m curious. ☺️

Let’s face it, MIL will go drag her home by the hair if she doesn’t come willingly. I think that long lost thought/thinks she is better than them so she left to pursue her ballet career at 25 years old (that still makes me laugh). If she had any love towards at least her mother she would have sent a post card now and then saying she was alive and fine. Plus she should have told her on one of those postcards to tell KS to divorce her. 😡 I know whoever and whatever she is I am going to hate her.

That is definitely what she does with KS. I posted once before that I thought she was in love with KS and that’s why she really wouldn’t let him go. 😲

The threat at the end that he better watch himself if he wanted to stay at HDF, I wondered if that’s how he will get back at KS by getting SS fired.

But she dresses the way he likes. She could even wear that red dress she loaned MR so he could drool over her. she’d be comfortable with it.

I didn’t think of that but I bet you are right. MIL is way too possessive of those men. It’s her daughters who have chosen to leave them. At least SS wife has it good since he sends her all his money except green fees and $$ to buy food at the convenience store but they made that choice together. I think when they say they are disgusting that he and his wife probably have been sexting and that’s what they are reading. But why would he not have a passcode on his phone when he knows how nosy those 2 women are. But yeah, them going thru my phone would be the last straw and I’d be gone.

I thought the “date” scene was so funny especially when she was calling him a miser and she thought he wouldn’t spend money on her. When they puckered up their lips and the camera was straight on each of them was the best. I’m not a lipstick stain expert but I do not believe that much lipstick would be on his shirt and the perfect 💋. But MIL and SIL need to get lives and leave KS and now SS alone. But from what SIL said something like they just finished getting KS away from HR that they will try to fend off anyone that gets close to the KS. Or they believe once the long lost strolls in they are going to have the perfect marriage. I was glad he honestly spoke his thoughts to MR. He needed that but he needs to say that to his in-laws as well so they don’t think he will just accept long lost as if she never left and won’t be shocked if she is single and he wants out. 😡

JH thinks he can lie his way out of it with MR since he’s been able to do that already.

I’m glad they did because that really made no sense that he could make that decision since it was straight from the chairman.

I got the feeling JH was not happy daddy-o went to his mistress and tried to get rid of her which makes me think he had no plans to get rid of her…just put her on hold until after he married MR.

Ikr? Who cares? They will talk more when they find out his son keeps a mistress.
