This is why SJ should tell MIL straight up the same thing he confided in MR. But MIL is so stubborn she will just think he is worrying unnecessarily because he will stay with SJ and JD no matter what is in his mind now. I still think back on how badly MIL treated him because of the fight he and SJ had that she thinks drove SJ to leave them all behind and the fact she has brought it up long after it happened to keep him in check.

@Lunkera I think CR will push MR back to JH only because she doesn’t want to be stuck with Sr Dong again. I think she honestly believes that JH loves MR deeply and will be willing to help him get her back on track to marry. But once MR’s relationship to DH becomes known, JH will never approve him being a part of her life and that will be the final straw unless Mother feels the same way and they work together to convince MR that she shouldn’t have any contact with DH since they know his past. But we will see if Mother is willing to accept someone not in the same status level as their rich family to be MR’s father…which will be a precursor for her relationship with KS when it happens.

If MR doesn’t come clean about what she knows to stop the wedding, I think there will be an iron clad pre-nup presented to JH that blocks him somehow from using her shares to get the majority shares needed, when added to JH and sr’s shares, so they can’t take over the company. I think chairman is playing dumb right now because he doesn’t want to draw attention to the fact that he trusts the diablo Duo as far as he can throw them.

@Lunkera I will be surprised if MIL ever moves forward willingly. When SJ is found and forced to face everyone she left behind, if Mother can’t guilt her into staying with KS & JD, then mom will become obsessed with making that happen. MIL has this idea in her head that SJ, will come back repentant for her abandonment of them and be completely in love with KS (which she wasn’t before she left and I don’t think absence made the heart grow fonder for her or KS), a perfect mother to JD, and a perfect daughter to her. And they are all going to live happily ever after with KS still supporting them all. Let’s face it, there isn’t even a room for her and KS to share even if she comes back thanks to MIL needing SS in the house so she could monitor him 24/7 (just like she does KS). I feel SJ will be a mini-me of her mother but worse. I imagine she has always demanded her way and gotten it except when she allowed KS to talk her into keeping her baby. I have no hope that she will even be a nice person when they find her. In my minds eye I keep seeing the wicked stepmother, Lady Tremane, from Cinderella as what JS will look and act like. 😂😂😂

I think MR denied knowing about the gf and made up the lie because she thinks she’s the cause of mom and sr not getting married and she doesn’t want to hurt her mom again admitting JH was a huge mistake. As I’ve said before she doesn’t know her mom was doing a happy dance and breathing a sigh of relief because she wouldn’t be forced to marry Sr.

I think he will be a thorn in the flesh of MR and KS relationship until he either leaves on his own or they find something in that contract to dismiss him for.

I honestly am not convinced that he doesn’t have feelings for YJ since he flat out ignored his dad’s question about that in Monday’s episode. Even with what she received as a bribe from Sr to get lost, I think she actually likes JH so she will lay low for a bit and then come back.

Possibly to prove she wasn’t wrong SJ may hire a real private detective and have YJ investigated, then take the proof to the chairman and drive the final nail in JH’s coffin. For some reason that family of business people don’t comprehend that most of the stuff she does (even tho it always backfires on her) is to protect JP’s future in the company. She’s not dumb, she knows JH is marrying MR for the shares she holds, so she will do anything to stop that marriage.

If I had my choice I’d really like to see YJ come back for revenge on Sr and JR by telling everything about their relationship to the chairman and CR. After that she and JH can ride off into the sunset never to return. ☺️

Yeah, there really was no reason they brought him on unless he saw YJ’s name and knew she was SJ’s sister and he is part of that story? Or they were just wasting our time which was probably it. 😂 I still think that was odd that he tracked her down because he liked her answers to the interview questions (I think). I thought she was going to get scammed by him because he just showed up out of nowhere.

I think that is one thing I really have disliked on this particular drama. It seems they introduce a possible couple for a couple of episodes and then they move on to another. The only one they’ve actually stuck with and spent too much time on, imho, is auntie and DH. But I also think they spend way too much time on the crazy MIL and her anger and control issues.

He could have stuck with the stalker story too. He’s made up so many stories of who she is to him that he probably forgets which one he’s using on that particular day. 😂

There’s a pretty big Korean population in the Dayton area, as well. I just don’t trust JH. I think he will lie, cheat, or steal to get the chairman’s approval for him to marry MR. If he doesn’t, his evil plan to backdoor his dad to make him pay for mistreating his mom, goes down the drain. But I would have loved to have seen the look on Sr’s face when JH kicked him out of the company after he worked so hard to get Jr married in to it. 😂

You are absolutely right. I know that they are getting us ready for the big reveal of MR being DH’s daughter but they could have done that without making the two of them a couple. I really wonder what will happen when MR finally mans up and tells JH to bugger off? JH is auntie’s precious boy so will it cause a rift between auntie and JH or auntie and DH? I think when she finds out DH is her father she will turn to KS since she seems to open up to him better than she does anyone else. JH probably doesn’t want to talk about her family history because it reminds him that she isn’t a Huang by birth. And mainly because he’s just an a**.

I believe our chairman has a little sumpin, sumpin up his sleeve. With what he said to CR about the reason Sr was pushing for the wedding led me to believe that. And why does CR have the same deer in the headlights look as MR when it comes to JH? I normally get tired of all of the stuff SJ says under her breath but I think she planted a big seed in momma’s head that all is not as she thinks. I am still not sure why MR lied about JH having another gf, other than maybe to save face in case she does agree to the marriage.

MIL, omg, that woman truly loses her grip on reality when she thinks one of her sons-in-law is up to something and SIL is getting just as bad. So I wonder if the reason she is paranoid is because her husband left her because of an affair? @Sher1264 brought that up a few days ago. But same as I said with her daughters, if she treated them all the way she treats people now I can understand why they have all left. She has her fists ready to throw a punch as soon as they walked in that bedroom door. But now I’m back to fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me towards SS. There is absolutely no reason that he can’t take some of his salary and rent a small apartment since he’s renting their house to make money, so at this point he gets what he asks for. Then MIL comes out the follow morning acting like nothing ever happened. I would have been so embarrassed and ashamed I’d have waited until he left before I left my room.

Have I mentioned lately how I didn’t like aunty ding Dong before she got lucky and started a relationship with DH but now she is more obnoxious than ever. How does a grown man find that in the least attractive?

MR going with KS to follow the lead will cause huge problems between him and JH since JH has threatened him basically to stay away from MR. But maybe if he beats KS up for this, Mother will finally accept that the man she is pushing to let marry her daughter is a piece of garbage just like SJ has been trying to tell them.

I do not for one minute believe that a food company in the US (coincidentally where JH lived and worked for years) made a huge purchase of a product that isn’t popular in the States and probably never would be. I have a hard time forcing oatmeal down my throat without gagging so not sure about porridge. I think I’m going to have to look up a recipe and try to make some just so I know what they are selling.

Can’t wait to see the conversation between the Director and Chairman. I’m just afraid he was so impressed with that contract he will tell him to go ahead with the marriage. 😡
