So glad JD has a friend that loves her like JP to be concerned with what she told him about her mom wanting her to be a blood marrow donor and he was willing to tell her secret knowing she will be mad. I’m sure SJ will try to find all manner of excuses to KS that little girl just calls her Mommy and all she is doing is sponsoring her but glad the little girl called her Mommy and then ran up and asked her mommy who KS was. If nothing else he should have grounds for divorce for her adultery if they are even still married which I don’t think they are. But the look on her face when that little girl cried out mommy was worth putting up with all her crap this far. She knew she was so busted and was trying her best to get her lies straight and make up new ones on the spot. 🚩🚩

As a woman who has gone thru her 50’s already, I think that Auntie D is experiencing the beginning of menopause. I’ve had friends who have described their experiences with menopause as feeling pregnant only worse.

I really liked that movie. Kathy Bates scared the crap out of me as that character. I still can’t watch the ankles/sledgehammer part.

Maybe he talks to HS about it and that’s one of the things HS clears up the misunderstanding about? I don’t care who she hears it from but she needs to be told that this woman she thinks came back because she loves her, in reality only loves her bone marrow so she can keep the little girl she actually does love alive. 🤬

She doesn’t know that KS has told the chairman yet so the only shock will be to CR.

I think poor JP will let it slip again about JD’s mother and since Soo Ji and CR have seen her now, Soo Ji won’t back down about it again . We all know there is no way these writers are not going to let Soo Ji be the one that tells the Chairman and CR so she can continue to tear down KS like she has from episode 1.

Do you think this could be HS telling MR that KS is not JD’s bio dad and JD overhears?

Thank goodness for JP, who cares enough about JD that he can’t hold that big of a secret no matter what.

The look on SJ’s face when she saw KS in the hospital hallway was priceless. All I could think was she knows she is so BUSTED! As I said a few days ago they needed to bombard SJ with questions so she has no time to think about the answers because she was scrambling hard to think up lies to tell KS but then Jenny yells mommy and runs to wrap herself around SJ’s legs and her scam was over. I can tell you there was no sweeter sound ever heard on this drama! But I do feel bad for the little girl for not only having leukemia but SJ as a mother.

Had SJ come back repentant of the sins she committed against JD and not tried to manipulate the poor girl and ruin KS’s chance for happiness with MR, she might have gotten a lot farther and on a much quicker time table. Every second she has wasted manipulating JD, KS, MR, and everyone else has been precious minutes she has thrown away of the poor little girl’s life.

Am looking forward to subs so I know what the Chairman was saying to KS.

Honestly, I couldn’t believe MaHD didn’t ruin KS’s life by blurting out about her precious SJ to CR and SJ. 🤮

I would think but the she’s too young to be a donor should have stopped it.

Poor JD was smacked in the face by her mother today when SJ told her that she needed her bone marrow for a little girl she sponsored in the US and even brought to Korea to save her life while JD has been waiting 10 long years for SJ to come home to her. Seriously that had to be one of the stupidest lies in the whole dispicable SJ storyline. SJ is going to have to pay cash for the bone marrow procurement and JD’s stay in the hospital and then cash for her daughter’s chemo and everything that comes before they even will put healthy bone marrow in. Then the weeks of isolation before and after. If she was just a sponsor she’d have taken the little girl to St. Jude’s where treatment is free or at least a children’s cancer hospital in the US so she would be able to use insurance or Medicaid. I realize JD is a child but their audience isn’t.

The doctor told SJ that JD is too young and underweight to be a bone marrow donor but SJ just plowed thru what she said. I don’t think the doctor ever agreed to do it tho. From what I understand donating bone marrow is not a pleasant experience but who cares how JD will feel as long as the daughter she loves life is saved.

Every time JD has asked him to do something in the last few weeks her mother is always there waiting like the evil villain she is when they get there so why does he keep falling for SJ and Jd’s tricks and manipulations. No way should he have sat down there even if all he did was drink a glass of water. That water should have hit SJ smack in the middle of her face. but with him still going and staying gives JD hope that she can force them back together. When JD asked him to take her for pasta her body language alone screamed that she was nervous and had something planned. I’m surprised she hasn’t pulled the old Parent Trap dinner yet. Thankfully both versions are too old for JD to have watched but surprised MaHD hasn’t done it yet. MaHD definitely taught SJ and JD well in being *itches and manipulation techniques and why YJ continue to put up with her mother is beyond me. Get a job and get away before it’s too late.

The JH/YJ romance is enough to make me nauseous. It reminds me a lot of the romance between YD’s brother and TK’s youngest sister. Both females are extremely immature. If YJ acts as stupid in job interviews as she does on a date I can understand why she never gets hired. Way too immature!

After all the screaming lectures SD has given KS and MaHD he went ahead and accepted the car. KS really should quit saying he will cut him off and just do it. But he also needs to move out of MaHD’s house so he will do neither one because he can’t stand confrontation.

I gripe and complain about his being such a whipping post for all of them but we don’t know how his grandma treated him. She may have been just like MaHD and that’s all he knows so he thinks that’s the way everyone should treat him. Sadly, you live what you learn from the way you were treated growing up. We also have no idea the psychological toll taking care of a grandmother with Alzheimer’s at such a young age took on him. Let’s face it, life hasn’t been kind to him and he has just learned to roll with the punches instead of fighting.

I will admit I did cry with him when MR pulled her hands away but she did what she needed to do to survive SJ. Hopefully it will be enough for JD and DJ to be happy and leave KS alone from now on. My one hope is that JD sees her dad crying. That’s the memory she deserves to live with for the rest of her life.

Since the little sister is reportedly in the last episode, I look for them to end just like TRHC. Everyone will forgive everyone and sit and sing a rousing rendition of Kumbaya at the end and all will live happily amongst each other in Seoul.

She is a brat thru most of the drama. She had a few episodes that showed she was growing up but now we are back to the brat.

Today on the JH and Auntie show we have yet another KS and MR emotional moment that leaves KS crying in the park and instead of following that story we again switch to JH and auntie stories right after, not to return to KS or MR together or separately the rest of the show. YJ has turned into a simpering idiot when she is with JH. The whole feeding her and what, I guess, was supposed to be cutesy chewing was disgusting. YJ and auntie both are way past the age of being cutesy when with their “boyfriends” in public. The writers have made most the older single women either look like giddy teenagers or poor HR who was pushy, obnoxious and wouldn’t take no for an answer. As an older single woman I find all 3 examples they gave as adult women dating insulting. Is there a woman on this writing team and did she not stand up for adult women acting like adult women when they are around men? MR is the only one that does and she is the youngest of the 4.

Preview looks like KS finally tells the Chairman what’s going on and chairman isn’t happy. But that may be something that ended up being cut out like so many other previews that never actually aired.

I also took a pause from TRHC for about 3 weeks. I read all the disgruntled posts and I thought I would never finish it because of what I was reading. One night, I didn’t have anything to watch and didn’t want to start anything new, so decided to see for myself how bad it had gotten. I think because I had taken the break and cleared my mind I was surprised it wasn’t nearly as bad as I had thought it would be. It’s 2 more episodes so I will be there for the last hurrah.

As for AOME, it’s only 10 more half hour episodes. I have definitely put too much of my precious time into this drama so what’s another 2 weeks? I’ve not been happy with the storylines most of the episodes so if I was going to stop watching I’d have stopped the very first time I realized what a master manipulator MaHD is.

I can understand your point of view too because it really would have been nice to have seen the show they advertised instead of the JH and Auntie show which it has been for weeks now. The writers made support character stories more prominent and important than the main characters storyline and that is what bothers me the most. I wish they would redo it as a movie and give us what they advertised the show would be. In the short time of a movie they could correct their crappy writing skills and we wouldn’t be stuck with all the useless filler they had to use to make up enough stories to keep it going for 120 episodes.

Agree. Does she “love” Jay#2 only because he is the mirror image of the man she actually loves and lived with in the US? Wish they would let that sleeping dog lie since they already broke them up. That whole storyline has had a creepy feel to me since the day she showed Jay#2 all the pictures on her phone of Jay#1.
