Didn’t even think of him being involved in the beach scene. I could definitely see him holding that kind of grudge, especially if Gil Chae refused to marry him. I know we all do stupid things in the name of love but why would the officer even want to marry a woman who laughed at his proposal, knows she still loves another man and she only agreed to marry him after he reminded her that Jang Hyun was dead. Then when she found out Jang Hyun was still alive, she was willing to defy and risk everything to run away with the man she will always love and the only reason she stayed is because the officer let her know he wouldn’t look after her dad like he had been if she didn’t marry him. To prove that point to her he let her dad roam off by himself looking for her. The safe choice seems to be a master at manipulating people to get what he wants.

I think next weeks episodes are the last. I saw something about season 2 but don’t know if that is true or not.

Sadly she still thinks her safe choice man is the one that saved them on the island when he actually only killed one out of the 17 barbarian soldiers since Jang Hyun had already killed the 16 to protect Gil Chae and the others. I didn’t like that her safe choice man didn’t deny credit for that heroic action, therefore he became a higher ranking officer because of something he didn’t do. But then, in episode 10, when he had his soldiers release her dad so he could roam out of the compound looking for Gil Chae, I realized how despicable he actually is.

The ad says they are “deeply in love, long for each other as their fates get entwined in a war”. After episode 10, I am not sure that doesn’t tell us all we need to know…they love each other and want to be together but because of how the war messed with their lives, their fates led them to other people and they never end up together.

Was it just me or did anyone else think the Crown Prince looked eerily like Jang Hyun on the ride back into the city to visit the king? I believe the one slave hunter that kept eying Jang Hyun and then he stood next to when he shot the arrow and it stuck in the slave’s skirt keeping her from moving was a female. Then later Gu Jam said he had never seen such a slim-figured man and quick as the one in the blue mask. So I look for her to be Jang Hyun’s love interest while he is trying to forget Gil Chae.

I think engaged but that may be the same as being married back then since that lying royal officer said it wasn’t illegal for a husband to kill a wife and her lover. Nice guy but what do expect from someone that didn’t correct the wrong about the 1v17 that got him a promotion in rank. I really have disliked him since he took credit from the king for the 1v17 and then taking Gil Chae on horseback to try to stop Jang Hyun from leaving. I knew he was going to be the next man interested in her when he offered to take her.

Soo Ji will sniff out the truth. Her nose was already twitching wanting to get busy sniffing out the lies and secrets. 😂 Hopefully she does a good enough job she sniffs out all SJ’s lies for the last 10 years.

I wondered the same thing but if you notice Soo Ji’s nose was twitching like a bloodhound while she was sitting there so if they glossed it over old Soo Ji the bloodhound will sniff out any secrets and lies JP and MR told to cover it up.

My thought was where is he going to get the gas to drive it once the gas in the tank runs out unless it is electric and then it will cause their electric bill to go up, when he pays none of the bills, just to charge his car. Plus who is going to pay the insurance on it? I’m too practical I guess for these writers stupid ideas. 😂

OMG…two great minds…I said we don’t want the child to be 9-10 because she could be KS’s to Sher1264 when we were texting earlier. I said and if she is MaHD will hold a shotgun wedding and force KS back to SJ whether he wants to or not. 😂😂

Exactly. I’m still trying to figure out why SJ won’t give up her cells if their DNA is an exact match but expects JD to. But just a DNA match still doesn’t mean their blood is compatible. I think there has to be exact matching cells in the blood for them to be able to use JD’s cells. But I’m not a doctor so I really have no idea but I don’t think it’s as easy as they have made it seem for this show’s benefit. But I’m also wondering, if SJ is such a devoted mom to this daughter why has she taken so much time away from being with her in a hospital in a country she is not native to to spend hours daily causing mayhem that didn’t need to be caused? With that in mind not really sure she is such a great mom to this child either but at least she is raising her…so far.

I got the same vibe today. When she brought her sister to their house, I kept thinking this little sister is going to be jealous of what she could have had and try to put the moves back on XY at some point. And I feel like we haven’t seen the last of her school girl crush tutor guy (who already looked 40 years old in her flashbacks) and the older business owner that she is doing the legal work for. But I won’t be happy if she is the reason they drift apart.

At least JH admitted he had been nasty to KS on a few occasions in the past. But it makes me smile every time JH has to bow to KS. 😀😀😀
