I think it's because for once it goes beyond just steamy scenes, like there's an actual plot with good understanding of characters 😭 (if you ignore the other couple's plot tho)

I don't remember what episode exactly, but it was after they completed JS's first door. They went back into the game page and it showed 12 doors. Also around episode 39, they also mentionned the fact that there were 12 doors.

Also, appart from the romantic plot, they all have something going on (carreer wise). While the main character doesn't. He works at this company, but seems to be mostly confuse in his tasks. He doesn't have a hobby or something that makes him shine at all.
