The writer has never interacted with humans before let alone written something about them
The writing is so painful.
Silly exposition devices, bizarre character introductions, cliché character archetypes with no intent of development and most importantly: Silly, ludicrous dialogue and character interactions! Seriously, what was that stupid chess game???
These cardboard cutouts that we're supposed to pretend are characters aren't helped by the wooden acting these actors are giving. I know it's an idol drama but surely the criteria for casting can include more than "pretty face"...
