I'm currently at episode 16 and I couldn't care less about the plot. It's just not interesting to me at all. And half of the time I have no idea who everyone is talking about and who's colluding with whom. xD So, I'm honestly just keep watching for the romance. There are some cute clichée tropes. But if you want an amazing story or don't like classic tropes, this one isn't for you I'd say. If you're in for the fluff, there might just be enough to keep you going. 🤭

I can't move on from this 😭. This is exactly what I was looking for but now I can't find anything else like it. I want exactly that kind of male lead again 🙉. The enemies to lovers was great, as was the protectiveness, the jealousy, the strength of the male lead (and the female lead). And their outfits were sooo beautiful! And the kisses and their chemistry?!!? hello? 😭 And I loved the way their arranged marriage was all the way through

WHY DID NOONE WARN ME ABOUT EPISODE 34 😭😭😭 I knew the moment he said bye on his horse, he wouldn't be safe but when he escaped for a second I had hope but then I saw the flower again and I just knew it would get bloody and it was the end. I hate this 😭😭😭😭

Honestly - I don't like your view on women AND men. The way you call some man "weak' and "simp" men for accepting the "friendzone" - whatever that means, just doesn't sit right with me. Only recently! I also noticed this a few days ago for the first time and I really like it 🤭

At least we're in agreement that it's not justified.But I guess we won't agree on the behaviour of the female lead since I have a different stance in regard to friendship. If the second male lead can't see her as simply a friend, that's not her fault in my opinion.If he can't seperate his romantic feelings from their friendship that's on him and if he can't deal with that he should have told her that directly and simply put and end to their relationship which he didn't since he had always just romance in mind. This is by the way very hurtful for a lot of women to this day. Women oftentimes see a friendship with a man only to find out later that he always only had the intention for romance and never saw her as a friend.
Anyway, I hope you still enjoyed the drama 👍

I already watched some of the Mulan ones - including the one without the happy ending 🥲. I can't do heartbreak at the moment. I wish there were more recent adaptations. I could watch the Mulan story over and over again 🤭

I just don't see the relevance. Even if you criticize her behaviour towards him (which I don't but it's okay if you do, one can do that), it still doesn't justify his behaviour towards her - literaly wanting to force her to marry him through the king. 🫠

Okay, so now that this is over: Does anyone have any similar recommendations? I especially enjoy the cross-dressing-strong female lead-mulan part and would love a little more romance in it. Anyone know a drama like that? 🙉

Oh hell no...A woman can't even be friendly to a man anymore without being blamed for the failing of the man. And this is exactly the reason why we still need dramas like this which address this problem up to this day. Sadly, messages like that are often missed by some viewers...
