Absolutely fair criticism I would say. :) I hope you'll warm up to it though. Definitely let me know if you finished the show in the end or not and what you thought of it. 😊It's only 10 episodes, so even if one chooses to "suffer through it", it at least won't take as much time as usual 😂

Okay, so...yes, there are some learning-experiences for both of them within the show. I don't think it takes that long for her to figure out he's not that bad. But before that she will be on the wrong path at least once more but definitely not out of malice.
But the way you write this I would say this show might not be for you. Because even at this point I wouldn't say there's "no freaking reason" for them to dislike each other. Yes, it's kinda a misunderstanding although he did say what he said. The way he talks about women will of course be a big No for her since she's a little justice warrior for women. 😉 Not saying her tripping was right but I wouldn't say it came out of nowhere.

Anyway: I really enjoyed the show but I 100% understand that it isn't for everyone :)

Currently rewatching - I love to appreciate the smaller scenes when I do.
And I need to say: I love Kye Bin (Kevin) soooo much 😭❤️ He's so cute in a funny way. 🤭

Okay, now I must really say something. The ML is everything BUT arrogant. Quite the opposite actually. This is just the impression the FL got from their first encounters. That's actually one of the plotpoints - her figuring out that she judged too hard, too fast. The male lead is great and he gets better with each episode. You should definitely try it again in that case and push through a bit longer. 😊

Just don't want you to miss out on something that might have been for you afterall. But I have shows too I don't watch for reasons like that. So, I get it. 😋 Anyway - enjoy your time however you decide. 😊

Totally valid opinion after the first episode although I must disagree. First of all: What is a stereotypical depiction of a strong FL? A strong FL? Well yes, that's what they went for. But different than in other shows that doesn't make her perfect. Yes, she calls out shitty behaviour and doesn't let others walk all over her. But she also grows and gets called out herself. While I understand dropping a drama after an episode, I don't think it makes sense to rank a character by it. The hype for the drama comes from the development of the characters over time.
But if it's not for you, it's not for you. 😋

I'm currently rewatching this show and remembering why I loved it so much the first time around 😂. I LOVE the mix of humour/comedy and romance. Both parts are done soo well.
Bonus points for the character Choi Soo Jin! 🥰 LOVED her.

I definitely recommend it. Does someone know a similar show especially when it comes to the dynamic of the two leads?

Now that I'm almost through the first season, I must say, while I do like that in this version the male lead isn't as bad as in others, I didn't feel as much in the core-emotional scenes as I did with the japanese version. It's a shame actually. Maybe I'm just used to the slow-motion-effects and the slowly zooming in on facial expressions and longing looks. But that's just how it was for me 🙈. I will still continue on to the second season though. Gotta cross that one off my list as a fan of the original Itazura na kiss 😊.

I love the Anime Itazura na Kiss and the 2013 japanese adaptation of it. But I struggle with this one. I watched 5 episodes so far and a lot of it in 2x speed because there are just so many draggy, boring scenes 🙉🙆. I'm honestly just watching it to experience the romance and them falling in love again. I really want to watch this adaption since so many people say it's the best one. But so far I definitely prefer the japanese version. 😭🙈 I hope I warm up to it a bit more....

I've watched the first two. And I LOVE Utsukushii Kare. The 3rd wasn't fully translated when I looked it up in the past but it's still on my list. I guess it's worth the watch then. 🤭 Thank you!
