It's ironic that there is no such outrage when it's a straight couple! 17 year Bella Swan in Twilight was shacking up with a century old vampire and no outrage! I'm absolutely against inappropriate age gap relationships but Zong Yi is 17 years old and very mature for his age and so I don't see anything wrong in this case.
This series definitely lived up to the hype. I also watched in trepidation of there being tragic ending after watching History3:Make our days count beforehand! The ending left me a little disappointed but in my head Tang Yi got out of prison; went legit and lived happily ever after with Meng Fei. I live in hope that the production team left it open ended because they may do a follow-up series. I'm currently watching Kieski: Dear to Me which is made by the same team. So far, each of the History series have made a big impression on me for different reasons. But the chemisty between Tang Yi and Meng Fei was off the charts and the intimacy between them never seemed forced. This bl is a class above so many others that I have watched because it has a viable plot; good actors; high production values and leaves me wanting more once the series ends.
This is not a perfect bl but I loved it for it's ridiculousness and me needing to dispense with reality! I was more into the Thea & Thee story and I wished that they had more screen time. I get what people are saying about the kissing scenes but I feel that Charn & Tinn had chemistry that made this series watching. Also, it was great that the series highlighted that there is no marriage equality for the LGBTQ community which isn't often mentioned. Also, maybe I like the crazy too much because I found Nawin cute and adorable despite him not having a filter or a single brain cell! I'm glad the series didn't drag on with unnecessary drama and that the production team left the product placement scene right to the end! I can vouch that Tiger 🐅 balm is indeed one of the best things to come from Thailand!
@ImHereForTheBL Totally agree it's rare to find bl couples who have little screem time but make a bigger impact than the main couple. There is burning passion in the way the look at each other!
There is so much more chemistry between these two that I'm more invested in their story. The blonde provides the angst and the longing for me to breathlessly wait for the next episode!
I absolutely love this series but I'm terrified of a tragic ending! I have not read the novel or spoilers so I'm clueless about the ending. I'd appreciate it if anyone can give a clue about the ending. I'm all out of tears after watching Stay with Me and Eternal Yesterday!
I think I'm lost with the storyline because I didn't watch the 2nd series of Cutie Pie and so I missed out on Diao's back story and why he has the dreams about the tiger! I really wanted to like this series but the changes in timeline and the use of the wrong shade of lip gloss by Yi had me losing interest. I also dont understand why make up artists' who work on thai bls think that making male actors look like geisha girls is an attractive look!

@NIke_v Thank you so much for the detailed recommendations. I only started watching bls last year so there probably some really good bls that I haven't watched yet. I was blown away by Addicted which I saw after watching starting to watch Stay With Me. I loved both versions and I'm going to check out your recommendations. I'm going start with Untamed; World of Honor and so on. I've got plenty time at the momemt to binge watch bls. There something about Chinese/Taiwanese that just hit different. I get so caught up in the story that I can overlook the lack of physical intimacy. I was surprised that I was able to find episodes of Addicted to watch despite the ban.
