It’s…. Fine…. I guess. Need to see more to see if it will get better or not. It’s not special. It’s not the worst either. The editing is a little janky. When compared to other shows airing these last few months (Be My Favorite, The a day I Loved You, our dining table, etc) it doesn’t stand out. For being good or bad. It’s just there at the moment. Who knows? Maybe it’ll be good. I’ll keep watching but I’m not expecting anything.
This show made me cry, laugh and smile so hard. I regret not watching it earlier because I was put off by some comments, so don’t let them stop you - it’s heartwarming, it’s heartbreaking, it’s bittersweet, it’s hopeful - it shows life doesn’t have to be perfect but you can still “seize the moment” and make the best of it. It’s definitely worth the watch - like any show, it may not be for everyone, but I assure you it is worth at least trying it. You might find a new favourite show, just like I did.
It seems to have been picked up by a taiwanese company so its less likely to be censored down to a bromance.
Never read the book, so i wouldnt know yhe ending, sorry - but yeah I think you might have misread my comment - its more likely to be a BL s8nce its a taiwanese company and therefore less likely to be censored. There is still a chance it will be bromance only since one of the actors is chinese, but chances are its gonna be a romance.
Honestly this show had nothing much of substance but that didn’t really stop me from finding this fluffy and cute - a good time sink for anyone who just wants to watch a typical high-school “drama” (I say drama but it’s mild as heck) that isn’t too memorable for any good or bad reasons. Worth the watch since it’s pretty short and bite-sized since any conflicts that arise within an episode get resolved within them so you can watch an episode at a time and easily stop after one if you need. Outro music was pretty catchy tbh, and Katori was indeed the best character
Glad to see the rating went up! And I hope the trend continues and the show manages to be as good as it is so far all the way to the end - it’s fun, it makes me feel feelings but it also makes me laugh and I don’t think I could ever get bored with Kawi’s antics despite him being so so so annoying (like I’d be so annoyed by him IRL but I love seeing him as a character) - I was right to have this as one of my most anticipated shows this year
At the end the plot was total chaos- intended or not :P But I so wish there was second season. Khatha/Dome don't…
IKR??? It's really giving Guardian, and it really was like a kick in the teeth of nostalgia despite them being different shows - i think part of it may have been the poor CGI that somehow made everything better despite being... not amazing at times
This show was incredible but I have a question about a possible plot hole/ unsolved plot thread
What happened with the police after the whole thing ended - since Tian reported that he was the one who killed Dong, we never see any resolution to that so do the police still think he’s the culprit? We never see it mentioned again since Li isn’t able to turn herself in/no one reports her, so I’m a little confused - do we just assume they solved it after the final fight?
