Can't comment about the dubbing coz most C-Dramas are dubbed, some good, some annoying or even worse.
Actually, Wu Xin and Xiao Se's conversation made me thinking of Zhou Zi Shu [ Word of Honor] had conversation with Lu Yi [Under The Power] 😅

He's a villain for stealing someone's fiancee and had his brother killed for whatever the reasons are.

But, just like Sikong Changfeng said, he's a good emperor for making the country safe and prosperous and a good father to Xiao Se, although not really attentive to Xiao Chong and Xiao Yu, but cared enough to them.

It is related to Dashing Youth and The Blood of Youth but not to Heroes (2022)

Err... I suggest you to watch Dashing Youth so you could understand better. It's not convenient since this comment section is for Blood River story.

The people who lied to Yi Wenjun was different, they were Beiqu people who wanted to use Ye Dingzhi's innate inner strength for their leader, so that he could regain his strength and and defeat Beili to rebuild their Beiqu state.

Wang Rensun betrayed Ye Dingzhi by revealing his home location in Gusu City and also fought together with othet swordsmen to defeat Ye Dingzhi.

The one who betrayed Ye Dingzhi is Wang Rensun, a swordsman who he met in Gusu City, and later on become good friends.

Tian Waitian people never betrayed him. They instead after Ye Yun's death made a pact with Baili Dongjun. Ye Anshi [Wu Xin] was kept in Beili for 12 years, giving them enough time to re-organize Tianwaitian, cleaning the mess and clearing the path for Ye Anshi to be Tian Waitian leader.

The scholarly sword deity [Xie Xun] was shown his sword skill on Dashing Youth. He was shown learning sword through books.

In The Blood of Youth, Zhao Yuchen's disciple became Xie Xun's disciple after his death.

He was sent out of Tianqi City before Langya Wang was imprisoned. Basically, he lived as a commoner but it wasn't mentioned whether he lived with his mother or protected by his father's loyal subordinates.

Xiao Lingchen's story will be continued in The Blood of Youth. He didn't appear much but his character is quite important since he's the only heir of Langya Wang.

Since it is danmei adaptation, there are lots of subtle hints that showed a deep affection between 2 main characters.

There are some sad parts indeed, but I think it is far from angsty theme, although the ending is really bittersweet.

The game was created initially based on their youth dream to create a virtual spiritual realm where they could have an ideal family, ideal life that they never had.

They still shared the same dream until their friendship fell apart, Gao Dawei continued his study abroad, while Jiushi became a game tester.

When Gao Da Wei continued his study abroad, it wasn't specifically mentioned the major he took, but he indeed created the game while he was in 'beautiful country' Only at the ending mentioning that he studied Economics and participated in awesome project in Europe.

The game was restored, the core program for the game was also gone, so Jiushi recreated it solely based on his memory. He wanted his Obsidian family and Ruan Lanzhu to come back alive inside the Spiritual Realm.
He also wanted to fulfil his promise to Qianli.

Given Jiushi's introverted personality, he recreated it alone, without any help from the outsider.

Apart from re-creating The Spiritual Realm, he also worked on The Virtual Reality Technology, following his idol's step [Qin Xuesen]

What he re-created is his virtual Spiritual Realm where his Obsidian family lived [fulfiling his youth dream] not the entire game.
It can be seen from Ruan Lanzhu greeting to him.

As for why 50 years, I think it is to emphasize the depth of Jiushi's determination to recreate it even if it took his entire lifetime.

That is just my understanding and interpretation after watching it many times.

Majority opinions think that it was just a dream that LJS had when he was in coma.

Minority opinions [including me] think that it really happened, happened inside the game world, so once the game was succesfully purified/restored, everything was back to normal. Every player lost their memories when they were part of the game, except for LJS [because he was like the 'programmer/technician' who restore/purify the game]

As for RLZ, since he was the NPC, the program to restore/purify the game, so obviously he only existed in the game world.

I know, just keep watching. There are lots of hints that will keep us guessing until the end.
