The one who shot arrow [by judging at the arrow position which look like shot from higher position] was most probably Bai Yutang.

Zhan Zhao is the court official, he couldn't kill the royal family. If he did kill the prince then the consequence would be huge, that's why Bai Yutang took the shot.

It seems this series might follow The Joy of Life 1 and 2 [5 years apart]

It's most likely Bai Yutang.

Zhan Zhao wanted to kill the old prince but the consequence would be huge if he did it, so Bai Yutang took the shot instead.

There's no romance nor slight romance. It's more into chivalry and siblinghood among the trio. I think there's no romance tag above.

Surprisingly, this era could bring the great Zhan Zhao, even better than some older generations.

After Huo Linglong got the prescription to cure Zhan Zhao's poison, she gave it to Tang Tian Hao and Bai Yutang.

Tang Tian Hao told Zhan Zhao that he still couldn't find the most important catalyst to create the antidote.

Bai Yutang somehow could figure out what the missing catalyst is. It's the dawn-dusk cocoon, the one that his brother found on the mountain.

So it can be concluded that they finally suceeded in creating the antidote and Zhan Zhao was cured.

This whole info and hint can be seen on the last episode through some flashback scenes and also there's the cocoon shown after the candle scene.

People should not compare this series with other same-type series. Seriously don't, because this series is based on a classic wuxia/gong'an story [The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants, firstly well known in 1879 before finally published in around 1880s] even much older than Jin Yong's wuxia novels.

So, if you want to be fair, those other wuxia series author was the one who followed this.

Tang Tian Hao told about this when he and Zhan Zhao had a private conbersation. [It's shown on the last episode flashback]

Bai Yutang found the catalyst to make the antidote. He was gonna tell Zhan Zhao before getting trapped and shot by the arrow.

It seems the last catalyst is the cocoon [I forgot the cocoon's name] that Bai Yutang's brother found on the mountain.
It can be seen at the scene after the fight on the tower.

So, with the antidote formula and the last catalyst is found, it can be considered that Zhan Zhao was successfully cured from the poison.

Also, the arrow was short, it looked exactly like the ones were shot at them on the trap.
