I recommend only watching this with the idea of this entire thing being a joke, because there's no way in hell the writer was serious about 90% of this show. This had to be a dare from one of the writer's friends, or maybe I just don't understand Thailand's entertainment culture. The only thing I enjoyed about this was Nabi's wardrobe and the fact that the entire cast was gorgeous, but that's usually the case for all Thai dramas.
***Controversial opinion*** Kevin was a great addition, and a scene that I will never forget was him introducing his kid, and then immediately saying to Geum Ja, "I hope that this doesn't affect our future." That took me out, and I still laugh every time that I think about it.
It was good, the one thing that annoyed me though was that random ass announcement about KHA and KHW suddenly dating. Seeing as the ending made it seem like there's room for a second season, it is very aggravating that if we do get it, we'll have to sit through romantic scenes with those two. Imo, this drama didn't need a love line at all, but if there had to be one it should've been with KHM. Because at least I wasn't on my phone during her scenes with KHW, and if I have to sit through romantic scenes in a drama that clearly doesn't need it, at least let there be an entertaining couple.
LMAO how am I just realizing that you HATE Nanno? T_T Every time that you say "demon child," I'm crying laughing. I can't believe that it took me to read through both of your rants, to realize that you can't stand her! I should've known when you mentioned in your other rant that you aren't a fan of Nanno's laugh.

I agree with most of what you said, to some extent. I feel like you may be either a much more empathetic person than I am or you watched it while forgetting that it's all fiction, leaving it to bother you so much. I think that for me, I watched it purely for entertainment without the thoughts of whether the punishments were too harsh or not. Except for in SOTUS and Lost & Found, of course. But if you think about it, a lot of the situations that took place weren't without provocations. To me, the basis of the show felt like, Nanno putting people in terrible situations to get them to become their worst selves. For example, Wonderwall, Trophy, Hi-So, Trap, Rank, and Liberation. In these episodes it's like Nanno is a god, she puts these people in these situations and pushes them to their limits until they retaliate, and then punishes them accordingly. And I'm not attempting to excuse their behavior but I couldn't help but think that if it weren't for Nanno would any of these things even happen? (But I know that some of the people that Nanno provoked were genuinely bad people from the start too). So I feel like since the start of the show everything had been majorly twisted, which is why I didn't really critically think about any of the episodes in this show. I'd recommend to watch every episode with a grain of salt, and remember that this is all fiction (hopefully lol). Anyways, it was wonderful to read your rant, I have to go check out your rant on season one now!
OMG!!! I cannot believe that I have finally found this article! I briefly viewed it once a couple of years ago and never forgot it, this article actually made me read the story, and got me into Webnovels! I've always wondered how to find old articles because after reading this, I wanted to check your casting again to see if it matched what I had in mind, and now, finally, nearly two years later I've found it. I can't remember every character since it's been a while since I've read it, but for the most part, I agree with your castings.
Oh and I actually just wanted to comment that you should make more of these, they're lovely and they'll make for novels to add to my "plan to read list" aka library lol.
Is it just me or was anyone else shocked at the way his parents reacted to his relationship with Zhi Xiao? (I know that setting him up on a blind date, while KNOWING that he has a girlfriend is wrong). But their reasoning for disapproving of their relationship was reasonable. If I'm being honest, I share the same concerns with the parents. I think that their age gap will become more of a problem later on. Why else would there be eleven episodes left?
Loved her in All of Us Are Dead, she was the perfect person to cast for the portrayal of Nam Ra, it was really like watching a character I'd read about come to life. Her eyes were so expressionless at the perfect times, and full of expression at others. I'm a new fan, I can't wait to see more of her work!
I like that they sort of gave Na Yeon a chance at a redemption arc, albeit she didn't take it, it was nice to see that she felt some sort of remorse over what she did to Gyeong Soo. As opposed to the webtoon, where she kind of just went a little crazy and then died.
* Episode 11 - Wei Xiang & Yi Jie (Leads) decide to get married* Episode 14 - Wedding Between Wei Xiang & Yi Jie…
Hey, first of all thank you so much for this, and second of all, would you mind being a little more specific about which episode Ke-Fan and Jia-Jia actually cheat? I know that episode 39 is kind of where viewers start to see a spark, but when does the actual fire ignite?
