The screenwriter of this drama is Zhou Munan himself (author of the novel) and Lin Conghe. I will certainly lower my expectations to the TBOY Season 2 because he looks like he is having difficulty writing the script. I know many loves the Season 1 but I'm just reminding y'all that if he messed up Season 2, don't cry that much because he himself is struggling to write maybe the pressure is getting to him with the demands and decision done in haste for Season 2.
Since I see many people talking about TBOY and it's sequel here, I'm gonna give an update. Looks like ZMN, the author and screenwriter of S2 and also S1 looks like he is struggling to finish the script. He may be experiencing writer's block right now. Will not be surprised if he was somehow "pressured" to agree for Season 2 in haste. That being said, don't give high expectations because the higher it is, the higher the disappointment will be. Still hoping he is gonna surprise us!

It's Cheng Xiao who got shouted and screamed at by him, it even had a video and caused such a huge commotion back then GJM had to even bring out the Rolls Royce part, her car.
Baili Dong Jun and Yue Yao had their real meeting in the latest episodes and I will not be surprised if we saw comments on how romance is unnecessary etc. etc. These type of comments are always on male centric dramas 😬.
