Wang Ye and Feng Bao Bao have many shippers back when this was in broadcasting period. I was confused myself like why are they shipping them??? but I went into a conclusion that they are attracted to this ship bc they are both interesting and strong or it can be bc of the actor or actress themselves.

I used the term stabilized because her female lead role track is unstable. She is switching from being an fl, sfl, or a small supporting role in dramas. And about that drama you mentioned, if this do well it will cement her career more firmly and will definitely help that one. For the billing bullsht, there may be chaos to whatever in this drama such as screentime but like what I said above at the end of the day we know who's gonna get the last laugh.

The fans of the another cast also harasses him nonstop. My take is that they can yap all they want till they drop but the last laugh will always be on the first billing. Back to CDL, I don't understand why would her fans demand to the point of harassing her to decline this drama when this is such a good opportunity to stabilize her female lead track after years of supporting roles. I will say that they are shortsighted.

i agree her delusional chinese fans kept harassing HMH and waged war with his fans for the first billing.... it became intense when the concept poster of Fangs of Fortune came out and with the male protagonist ALONE in that concept poster but they chose to be blind & would not stop yapping about it. They all did that fuss and commotion because they could not accept that she is second billing. I like that she came out and confronted her fans to quell the harassment they are doing to HMH and she implied that it is her own choice to be the second billing to him.

What do you mean by this. The season 1 is a hit in China and Wang Ye has like less than 3 hours of screentime in there but he gained the most amount of fans during its airing from weibo followers. It's based from what I checked back then when it was airing. His scenes in this season 2 has only got him to film for 4 days which is a loss for many people who like him. He contributed to the popularity of season 1 a lot but what is done is done so we move but you know it's still a bummer even though I moved on.

I saw that too, it's better not to take other's opinion seriously because just like what I have said it's all subjective.

His traffic is obviously increasing and it is expected that he will get mugged like this starting now from haters, trolls etc. Well, I lurked in weibo to know the overall situation and this drama did good numbers because of him. The data and heat index where he is in the spotlight for until episode 24 or 25 as I can't remember clearly saved the overall data from flopping. It's the SML's plotline that dragged the drama down to the gutter. Predicted to have 31+ million views but free falled so damnnnnn hard because of the sml. But it did well compared to traffic stars dramas in Q3 like Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red-Moon Pact and Follow Your Heart in Yunhe. RMP has like 14+ million views and FYH has like 16+ million views in the data chart I saw and they did not hit the Olympics so I'm still impressed.

It's a hit in China, it is included in the year end report of Youku. They flashed their hits on screen in a meeting or whatever is that called. Wang Ye is one of the most popular characters in there played by HMH, he even exceeds the ML in popularity charts. It's a bummer he only filmed for 4 days.

It all boils down to preferences for acting I even saw Zhao Jin Mai, Zhang Wang Yi, Yang Zi, Liu Shi Shi criticized a lot in their own recently broadcast dramas for their acting lmaoooo. It's subjective and I can't imagine Yu Shi doing this kind if role imo, he just doesn't do it for me like it do to you. He has a mature face too suitable for generals and I will be cringing if he ever got the part. I will be closing my screen never to look at it again.

I think placing HMH in main role is not proper, it should be for guest role. His screentime in here, can you even imagine... it's like less than 20 minutes for that 4 days of filming.

HMH nailed this role, I can't think of anyone who will suit BDJ esp who exudes the DASHING vibe.

I really hate how they made Dong Jun go back to square one like he worked hard for that internal strength 🤦🤷
