Quite bummed about unresolved SE in historical times. Everyone runs around screaming Ziqing while JBY clearly will die if not completely immobile forevermore with the spikes through his spine/ankles/wrists and HZQ dead. Uncertainty for the kingdom now as everyone mourns the 4th Prince and Princess 😣😔

If you’re usually the S+ or S type of cdrama watcher…this would be like B grade. The moving around the “regions” is very much like Legend of Fuyao which is why Ziqing keeps having to be bedridden by external forces ganging up on her and hurting her.

Too many episodes. CGI is laughable.

Main leads do a good job with chemistry and always being there for each other. The side characters were such an odd bunch but their stories are fleshed out eventually.

I LOVE ZLH with all my heart but I’m STRUGGLING through this. It took me 3 tries to finish ep 1 and it’s only 35 mins. Lost focus on ep 2… is this a flop? I feel like back to back his dramas are showing his better acting abilities…

Unrelated but did it ever explain the scenes for why Jae Su goes out at night dressed like he’s going spying or hiking the wilderness or something??

The drama is an easy watch. Though I didn’t like the dubbing, the storyline didn’t have ridiculous plots and unnecessary drama. Very supportive couples and a good show to pick up if you’re waiting for episodes to drop for other high budget dramas or just looking for a drama that isn’t emotionally draining!

Man this was a hard one to get through and rate. I can’t believe a LYX drama has this few
comments.

This drama had a LOOOTTTTTT of stars in the cast and “cameos” via the YNX transformations. I’m a HARDCORE Leo Luo fan but the CP feel wasn’t as strong here (also HARDCORE BL fan so you know I’m biased for her lol).

The storyline stuck on this Zornia grass was too exhausting and one track. I know it involved different settings and mysteries to unravel but it was tiring and I felt like the script was too loose to connect it all and tie up loose ends.

I wish Leo didn’t get injured on the set of this drama. He busts his @ss with wire work and fighting scenes and it’s such a shame that it didn’t culminate in a stronger final production

She was forced to drink a potion and changes every month. The other episodes aren’t as ‘comedic’

I FREAKING LOVE LYX but I think I moved on from The Double too soon. I can’t get into this drama’s mood and I’m already 8 eps in!
