to explain simply, this was produced by KAKAO ENT, who decided to stop spending money in kdrama production. so this drama which was in pre-production (meaning stage of editing, mixing, etc...) got stopped all of sudden. so the only chance it gets released is that kakao change their mind and start producing shows again, or that it gets bought by another company (but it doesn't seem like any company is interested to buy the show or it would have been bought way earlier)
