Most people will have heard of AIDS but not familiar with HIV. Not because you know, others will know too. Watch…
I'm living in Korea and I can tell you, they're really dumb when it comes to STDs... they don't protect themselves, and HIV is really taboo. There is no sex-ed here, so they're not well educated on this subject. For instance, until 2016, foreign English teachers had to take a HIV test to be able to teach. For a lot of Koreans, as far as I know, HIV is mostly related to foreigners and gay men. So yes, they're living in the past.
This movie is a waste of time. It's a lesbian movie made by men, and it shows. The story could have been nice, but it's very badly executed. I gave it a 4/10 because I like Kiko.
It's good but why did they have to change the story so much? At around ep 5 it's starting to get really different from the webtoon, and by the end it's a complete new story.
Actually i like slice of life dramas. But i wanted to give this drama a chance. I could not understand why this…
I agree with you. It's a good drama, but it's way too overrated. There were so many plotholes and the story is inconsistent to the point that it's getting annoying.
Due to covid19 it can't be released in theatre for the moment.
Ah sorry. It's because of legal issues. The local distributor wanted to release it internationally on netflix, which mean that they would have to cancel their contract with the international sales agent (who's in charge for international release) but because the agent already sold the movie to several countries for release, the local distributors would have had to paid a penalty because there would have been a breach in the contract.

I get your point too and I totally agree with the fact that it didn't need to be named save me 2. Anyway, I don't even like this season so I'm not defending it or dragging it down either. Yeah same for me, I don't get why people get all worked up when someone disagree with their point of view.

It's not even the same scriptwriter and director that are making this season, my guess is that it was named Save Me 2 just because it is also about a cult and it could be linked to the first season and draw the attention of the fans. The writer of Save Me is done with the script, if he wanted to continue the story he would have done it. Save Me is one of my favourite dramas so I also got attached to the characters but it's impossible to compare it to shows like GoT that are supposed to last several seasons, so it's normal for the characters to be developed alongside the story. It is made to be enjoyable for several seasons so characters are written in a certain way to keep the audience attracted for several years. Furthermore, each season is connected to the other, the end of a season is not the end of the story, contrary from a drama because as I said, writers don't plan to make a sequel when they write the script, the story is done after 16 to 20 episodes. Adding more after that would seem forced.
what is it with korean drama sequels always having a different cast, tho lmao.
It's because Koreans never plan to make a second season when they produce a drama. It's only when it is highly appreciated and popular that the audience asks for a second season. But because the original plot his over, it doesn't make sense to have a sequel with the same cast as there is nothing more to add to the story. This is why they only take the same concept but change the plot and the cast. Plus imo I don't really like when series are getting too many seasons and the characters don't have anything more to show, so it's quite nice to have a new cast and a new story to follow.
