Oh cool , I’m actually from melb , awesome to meet another fellow Aussie! I grew up watching TVB and yess the 90s and 00s are def tvb hey days. People are watching VIUtV now which had some good series too which tvb would never make coz of the genre.

Yes it’s sad that it could have been better but I actually liked the faster pace but am a bit disappointed on the last 10 eps. They could have fleshed out LSS better , put YXW wittiest and liveliness back into her. Give her back her narrative like in the first 10 eps so we know what she is thinking . Anyhoo , I love it either way !! The acting was so good that I felt all the emotions they were experiencing. Watching LIS now def soothed my soul. Lol

Hi 5!! I don’t think tvb even makes costume drama in recent years but undeniably they are the forefathers of this genre. The TTEOTM director is from Hk , wonder if he had worked on tvb dramas before lol
