I am seeing lots if gaslighting here lol...please stop making it look like she was NOT straight up BLACKLISTED…
Well, despite being a fan of Cheng Yi, I wanna say there is a reason for him being hated by BY's fans and nobody can deny that he behaved badly at the last fan meeting of Love and Redemption. On the other hand, what Crystal did was nothing but being bullied by her colleagues and unreasonable C-netz. Honestly, I don't usually bring up the matters in the past but you can't make a false claim when it is crystal clear that BY was blacklisted for around 2 years for just doing her job. Also, as I'm a frequent weibo user, I can say the real fans of BY don't attack CY unlike a lot of his fans who were always attacking BY. What BY's fans want is to stay away from the rumours and news of CY. Her large fan clubs always give warnings to not mention CY's name together with BY for rumours because they know how the girl is mistreated. That's the biggest extent to which they go about this CP. Being a fan of both CY and BY, I am still supporting them and waiting for their reunion but that doesn't mean I will ignore all the facts and lie to myself that the fan wars between the two parties are caused by the faults of both parties. Also, both CY and BY's popularity rose because of L& R. If you keep claiming she was not blacklisted, check and compare the list of projects BY and CY worked on after L&R. Even the supporting cast in L&R got more projects than BY during 2020-2022. Even though I'm explaining a lot to you like this, I don't think you will understand it because you are already trying to change the facts that are universally known even before this issue.
Frankly, her tax issue shouldn't be a problem anymore for her role as Tu Shan Ya Ya. For all I know, she didn't evade the tax. Her team was just late for the payment but they paid the tax in full amount after the first warning. The government doesn't seem to ban her as they didn't take any action against her. Those celebrities with the tax scandal suffered a lot because the government wanted to ban them and they evaded huge amount of tax. In Bingyan's case, it is the public that is making things difficult for her. If they are being understanding, she can smoothly keep working as Ya Ya. In the event that the producers were brave enough, they could let her play the role. Apparently, there is this huge star power by Yang Mi and Gong Jun. I don't think the haters will hate BY enough to ignore all the cast here. But even if they decided to remove my girl as a cast, I will keep supporting her. I'm sure her persistence and talent will bring much greater success to her some day.
Although there is the prospect of all of her dramas being suspended, I hope she won't suffer a lot from this and can come back into the industry real quick. So sad for her as she is a very good actress with a successful future and have been waiting for her dramas including the much anticipated series "Fox Spirit Matchmaker".
The ending wasn't satisfying at all, at least for me. They used reincarnation trope to present eternal love of the main couple but what they showed at the end was Xiao Man was having deeper affections towards the villian rather than the ML, and Lu Yue Er was the one who loved the ML. That was very silly. And episodes 19-24 were just fillers. They should have sought to show how the main couple resolved their conflicts about their parents but there wasn't any proof of it. There really was no character or relationship development after episode 19 for the main couple. Even the second couple's scenes were sweeter before episode 18. Although I've watched similar dramas like this where the execution and plot development in the second part turned bad, I can't engage with what the writers and director wanted to convey here at the end. The writing and FL's character were rather inconsistent.
Is the FL's character here good? I mean I saw a comment that she was rude to ML all the time. I don't wanna watch a drama where the main leads bicker a lot and FL misunderstands /does not care about ML. Hope someone will enlighten me about this.
Douban rating for this drama has been increasing even after it was finished airing weeks ago. Congratulations 🎉 I'm so happy for BY, ZYC and the whole ZQH team. They deserve it, or I must say they deserve more.
At what point does this get interesting? I’m on ep 6 is it too early to decide to drop.
For me, it is because I remember things got more exciting and complicated around eps 19-21 and afterward it became addictive. You'll find many unexpected plot twists until the end and the love story between the leads was genuinely beautiful.
This is NOT a rom-com guys. Don't get fooled from the 1rst episode. It involves a lot of palace politics , betrayals,…
For me, even the first episode was serious except the playful nature of the FL. I agree with you that it can have 40 eps. There were many things left unanswered clearly. The four main characters also have interesting backstories. From my perspective, this series didn't go far enough. But I guess they just wanted to make this short and sweet.
As I found more deleted scenes, I got more bewildered by the ridiculous editors. It's a pity that Chinese entertainment companies don't find qualified editors despite the well-matched actors and good scripts. This series is already so good but would be a lot more remarkable and memorable with those deleted scenes.
