This is probably the sweetest, saddest Korean movie I have seen. But the fact that she left him for 45 years and after she finally returns, she leaves again?? Oh how my heart broke when I saw him just standing there, alone, watching her car leave. Did she know he was really there or did she think it was a dream or something? I sort of wish they added more to his story and to the story as a whole just to give us a little more insight. Also the fact that he didn't change AT ALL made me even more sad because she got old and he stayed young just killed me because even if she did stay, he would have ended up alone anyway. This is movie just broke my heart. I just wanted them to be together but they didn't and I just want to hold Cheul-su and pat his head. This is definitely re-watchable though. I'll probably cry even harder the second time.

Finding out that this was being remade today has seriously made my whole day. I have been waiting YEARS for them to remake the Japanese version of this. And to think it's been out for a month already! I'm so freaking excited! I'm going to watch it as soon as I can. I hope it doesn't disappoint! (:
