You are probably right - the most likely - even though he was pretty bad with her, he always protected her.

I think at this point she is so mad at GNT that she doesn't want to be reminded of him.

Remember, he closed his blinds on her. That was so awful.

Also she may be protecting her own self, protecting GNT because Jiang is such an awful person and wants GNT out of the running race.

I agree I think Jiang who wants GNT's job was plotting something.
So she performed a good thing - protect herself and GNT.

However, I don't know if GNT got the message. He's so gnarled right now. It's like he is as stiff as a pretzel.

Why did CX tear the contract in front of everyone?
1) to embarrass GNT
2) to protect GNT from the big boss Jiang
3) just to end the so called relationship. She really has had it.

No she is just there- waiting for him!

Let's hope- she does seem like a smart lady.

But YH is so perfect, so sweet and so manipulative. :-)

Yes, in Fox, her character was awful you are right, he couldn't act.

He was making good progress slowly and then NZ shows up. Rats!
Now it isn't only NZ but it is YH, the mother, NGT's stubbornness and his stiff non-yielding nature.

Remember when he had dinner with CX, he was almost human. Loved the waiter!

But it will all change - I have just got to be patient - hard to do but no choice.

WK is exceptionally good-looking but not like the other good-looking actors. His face is striking, his eyes are intense and he is a good actor too. He's a joy to look at.

I wish I had never started this series - but waiting till the end and binged!!!!! Too much angst, not enough to give us something but till love the two main actors. They are exceptional.

Most interesting rewatch: IQ preview ep 24 around :14 where she tears the rent papers up. So great! He looks stunned.

She tears it up in front of him and others are watching too.
She needs to get strong again and ignore him but we know that won't eventually happen.
I think he wants her in his life but under his control. Long stares, smiles, etc. He controls her - she can't even touch him except when they were in the camp. Again it is under his control, for now.

Yep, I think we nailed it! Guilt. So he tries to forget CX, concentrate on his work, and let NZ have CX. Until.......!

In thinking about it, I agree, I think he has totally withdrawn from the game - I don't even think he wants CX as a copilot.

He wants her out of his life but he won't be able to.

She practically begged him to find out how he really felt about her.

I think NZ may be GNT's sister. Remember, when she died in the plane, he later tried to hit GNT and fault him for it. So maybe, GNT is giving NZ a break in life.

And if that is the case that he is doing for NZ, then he is a real sucker.

If he thinks he doesn't stand a chance against NZ, he already knows CX loves him, not NZ.

You know, we need to watch the rest of these episodes as soon as possible :-)

Ok I watched it again. He is so kind to YH and so cruel to CX. It was a weird side glance - not sure if it was just GNT being his stiff self or meaning something else -

I can't figure out if GNT is playing a game with CX or what.

He's too cruel not to play a game with her.
