I watched that too! By now, you can tell that I like J dramas.

Right now I'm watching 4 J-dramas:
Learning to Love
Cinderella Closet
My Frosty Coworker Is Only Sweet to Me
Their Marriage

They are all equally good, but my favorite one is Learning To Love.

In their simplicity, many of them are grand!

As time goes by, I'm starting to appreciate Japanese dramas in so many ways.

I was kidding - I agree with you. He is not a nice person. I know he probably regrets what he did, but he doesn't seem to have respect for her law's unique talent.

But she either should be with the ML or not be with anyone at the moment. She's young and very talented.

I wish, at this point, that we could have 16 episodes instead of 12, but we get what we get.

I kind of agree with you - no romance between FL/ML. We have only 6 episodes left - ML is still upset about his ex. He can't seem to get over her. So any shifting of his attention to the FL will have to come up in the next 6 episodes. If the writer wanted some romance between the FL and the ML, the writer would have shown the ML walking the FL into her home while she was drunk. They left that part out.

I hope we are not right- I want him to lighten up about his ex and maybe give some attention to the FL, but right now, as it stands, I just don't see it because of the way it is written in the first 6 episodes.

Also, there is a big age difference between them - yes, they are both actors, but still, the age difference is there.

Maybe the FL needs to go back to her previous boyfriend, who seems to like her still :-)

Ok, just call me Martha! My best choice among the J-dramas that I'm currently watching is Learning to Love. A little hard to watch (not violent), but shy FL teacher, ML can't read or write. 2nd, Their Marriage (pretty strange), and lastly, Cinderella Closet.

I like many of them because there are few fillers - no extra stuff - it gets right to the point ;-) Also, no extra side couples, so it is just the main couple. Try Learning To Love as an example.

All are J-dramas on Netflix and have got me glued, but not as glued as I am with Beyond the Bar!

All is great: the director's work, the writers, the actors, the OST, I was almost ready to give up on K dramas, but this one pulled me back home!! I can't ask for any more!

I agree with you - it was like the writer filled in with extra family stuff and group singing on ep 26..
I gave it an 8.5 - I liked the ML the best - nice serious face - pretty eyes, talented acting, especially when he was making fun of the FL, it looked so natural.
