I took a chance to watch it, and it is fun to watch. I'm waiting for ep 2. Why is the rating so low? I'd like to know why Murakami Raul Maito has a support role instead of a main one.

I was not going to watch it because of the 50 episodes (now 54), but something pulled me to watch it, possibly some of the actors in this series.
Ahn Jae Wook and Yoon Park in particular.

Give it a try - it goes by so fast - and rarely gets boring. You'll find the first episodes pretty fun to watch, get a little slow past the middle, and pick up with a lot of enthusiasm from all the actors passed the middle.

There are commenters on both sides - not enough romance between the main couple, and just enough.
But here is how I feel:

For me, Eagle lost its wings!

It started with the Eagle flying with thrust, and it is landing with the Eagle losing its wings.
Poor bird. Eagle tried to resume flying, but it kept flapping its wings to no avail.

Oh well, there are other birds ready to fly for us to watch.

For all the writers' mistakes, I think too much attention was placed on the Taks. Essentially, the Taks took over the story and the main couple took to the background. Eagle never fully recovered.

Sad but all arguments aside, it is a mediocre series with a wonderful beginning.

This episode was better than the previous 2-3 episodes. Other than the Taks, which take an insurmountable amount of video time, most of the rest went well.
I thought of the same thing about transferring the shares - maybe, since the FL is so forgiving, she might give them back to the Taks! Why not :-)

The kiss at the end was a big of surprise but pleasant nevertheless.

He's fun to watch! I like his acting a lot. He was so good in Clean With Passion Now.

Because of Eagle, I've lost my patience with many episodes, but maybe 30 minutes each may be a lot easier to watch. Thanks Nexe!

It is a lovely drama - it deserves that rating, I feel. One might feel a bit annoyed at the FL and ML because they are so painfully shy with each other. The series is captivating for me.

I think you might like the Jdrama - I just worry, since it is during the 2nd WW that something will happen to the sweet ML. Good Boy is no doubt violent, but it has captured my interest because I want to see the head evil lead get killed!

That actor, Oh Jung Se, is magnificent in every series I've watched. From It's ok not to be ok, Mr. Plankton and a few others, and now Good Boy - wow, he's tops.

Yes, I did read that Golden Days has 50 episodes - too many after episodes after watching Eagle!

I'm watching "A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You 9.4(909)" It is a wonderful 1036 romantic historical J drama- I would recommend it highly unless you don't watch J dramas. I'm also watching Good Boy on Prime (Amazon). An ultra-violent series that is both comical and serious at the same time. I'm not watching the Woman Who Swallowed the Sun Yes, Our Golden Days is coming. I read about it, but if it is as bad as Eagle, I don't know. It has many episodes, right?

Of course, I will stay with you, Nexe! I'm just massively disappointed in this series, but we'll talk about it till the finish. At this point, I would give it a 7.5 or so - we have a few more episodes, like 6 or so, we will hang together!

At this point, it has been a waste of time for me. I doubt that the producers or director will explain why the direction this show has taken.

I agree with you. Netflix, etc, lose the quality that one gets from Kocowa and Viki.
However, I enjoyed a few Asian shows on Netflix, for example Hidden Love and a few others.
So it is a mixed bag. It is hard to compete with big-money firms like Netflix. Sad in a way, but I use both Netflix and Viki, and I also like J and C dramas too.

Believe it or not, I spent some time rewatching parts of Love at Night!
It came out in 2021, and I skipped portions of the series when the 2nd couple came into the picture. But the main couple's romance was fun to watch.

Terribly disappointed in Eagle - at this point I can't take it seriously or even lightly;u so the mil's acting was refreshing to watch.

Her acting is believable and professional. I agree.
