I feel sorry for Babi. He is walking on thin ice with Yumi. She is so closed up and looks for any suspicious sign from Babi and her cells are over the place that I can’t see it going forward.
They both need an open conversation bringing out all their issues.

You have made excellent points. I tend to agree with you. In a way, because of his past, Babi is terribly insecure.
1. She used the excuse that her house was dirty so she wouldn’t let him to bring in the potatoes. More insecurities for him.
2. Yumi is also insecure so two people with such insecurities don’t help a relationship go forward.
3. And of course we have the over confident Woong making things worse. Taller, in your face etc

I think with some open discussions between could really help their relationship.

Another good analysis. To me, Babi is either hiding a lot of stuff or he is just insecure. There is something weird acting about him. First, he is so happy to see Yumi again and then he is as cold as a fish, even before he left for the trip. That's it. he was not lovey-dovey even before he left.

Silvana, as usual, you are making some really good points. Well said and very clear! Why do you think Babi is so reticent? Is it because he is insecure? Or Is it because of Yumi's slow reaction or is it because he doesn't really love her? He said he thought that she was no longer interested in him but I didn't see that. Something is wrong with him and he is not saying what he is really thinking or feeling. I'm confused.

Well said Sonia. I feel the same way you do but I think we are in the minority :-) We only have 2 more episodes, and then we'll know what the writer intended. I picture them (as some others have said) to end in South America, dancing the Tango and sharing their past pain and their current peace and love. Is that too much to expect?! We'll see what happens.

The only two reasons why I think that way is the conversation between KYK and his wife at the end of ep 14 and also the Twin Flames theory. Cross fingers!

Thank you too Sonia316! That's right it was early on that when it was mentioned. Do you think that because of the Twin Flames that LRE and KYK must end up together - sort of a fated mate? I hope so but most comments both on MDL and Viki don't seem to feel that way.

Yes, that's what she said. I also remember KYK said that he and La El are like "Twin Flames." I looked up the expression because I didn't know what it meant but in retrospect it makes sense. I hope it doesn't have a sad ending - They both need each other - maybe co-dependency?
