Finished this in one go. Interesting, intriguing topic and concept. Amazing cast. Phenomenal acting. Some scenes…
I agree with you on all points you made. Looking forward to S2. However with some of the comments made here, I hope the writers and Netflix won't pay attention to them, we need Season 2 to resolve everything.
The one thing I have understood is that this series is extremely polarising, and so far I have only heard or read…
You have worded it well. Yes, a warning to all of us. I really liked it and i agree with you, it is polarizing but what's wrong with that? As I said, it's a wake up call for us all.
It's not as complex as you probably want it to be. The script is a mess.
Sorry, I respectfully disagree with you Applix1. I read all your points you made and I really didn't agree with most of them. However you seem to be in the majority but I still think it was a really good drama whose message should wake people right up and think! p.s. I don't mind being in the minority :-)
Just finished watching Ep 6, final episode of Hellbound. I haven't read any of the criticisms yet but all I have to say is that is superb. Acting perfect especially from Yoo Ah In, story held together well, CGI well done. Maybe there were parts that didn't hold together but in the main, what a way to wake people up!
I'll watch anything with Yoo Ah In! He is, IMO, the best actor Korea has. So you are not considered shallow for…
He's a most unusual person. You are right, he tries and succeeds in different roles - taking a chance. I wonder how many MDL'ers appreciate who he is and what his accomplishments are. I just wait anxiously for his next film!

I was just reading his bio in Wikipedia and I couldn't believe that it was from one person! He's done so much in his 35 years, incredible. Compared to all other actors, he's way out there in talent, political expressions, art, really incredible career. And he's fairly nice looking too, as if that makes much difference compared to his other talents. Wow.
Am I considered as too shallow if I admit that I watched the first 3 episodes only for Yoo Ah In and the last…
I'll watch anything with Yoo Ah In! He is, IMO, the best actor Korea has. So you are not considered shallow for watching Hellbound because Yoo Ah In is in it. I haven't completed it yet so I don't know about Won Jin Ah. Try watching Burning with Yoo Ah In, if you haven't yet watched it.
I skip most of the brother's scenes. He needs to grow up a bit to match her.
Thanks CC, I'll check it out for sure. We are only half way through so a lot of stuff will happen. The new ex will be interesting challenging poor FL's insecurities. Again, thank you so much for the lead on instagram.

Where did you see the previews of not just ep 17-18? ML had an ex? That ought to cause a lot of problems. A man with those looks probably has more than one ex :-) And poor FL, she is insecure as she is, imagine when she finds out about the ex. I just don't understand why people force themselves on other people. It's like an obsession or something weird.
Thanks CC, interesting information but we will have to wait one more week.
I find Bobby annoying too. He's always present around her. He acts so innocent - well maybe he is. I haven't read…
Hi XingBack, I don't know if I answered you back - it's been a month ago! I was checking on all my messages and I found that I didn't reply to you! Shame!! It's so strange, how the whole memory of Yumi's Cells has been drifting away. I'm waiting for Season 2 as we all are. I still like Woong - yes naive but you are right, he is not a bad guy. Anyway, sorry, bad me!
I am actually planning to start this drama because I liked the actor when he played the ML in another historical…
Thank you Angie for that reference. I've marked it. I've watched Intense Love on Youtube. I usually like happy endings. I'll give Stand By Me a chance. Again, thank you!

We'll have to wait until next wed-friday. He's almost part of her! I can hardly wait until next week with the main leads. So exciting. The previews look like fun. One whole week! It's been awhile since I've seen that sort of closeness/chemistry between main leads. It feels real compared to some of the other dramas we watch. I agree, the tuxedo will not add maturity to him.

I agree. He's sort of a housemaid but he has no other means of making a living except being an art teacher. I can't figure out how old he supposed to be. In real life he's 20 so in this drama he's probably around that age +/-. I think it's the way he acts, his baby face and that compared to her, who is 30 there seems to be more of a grown-up difference. Still it's funny but maybe when she dresses him up there will be a difference.
I'm just complaining that there is not enough screen time dedicated to the main couple. They are really special. Enough of the sides. Cute but enough.
BTW: Most moms nag, I think. :-) I know I have. :-) Thank you for responding!
It starts out very strong but ends disappointingly. The script goes downhill mid-way through and keeps getting…
I agree. I wasted my time watching this. My favorite Lee sang yoon seemed to wilt during most of the episodes completely overshadowed by the female lead. It was like he was a place holder unfortunately and sadly.
The ending didn’t make much sense also. I waited and waited to watch this drama but only to be disappointed. Yes Lee honey did a very good job but over powered most everybody else.
I wouldn't call it a love triangle, nor what i say that he's "keeping her attention". More like a pest she wants…
Well you make a good point. She’s caught between the past and the future with the ML. Her personality is such that she doesn’t come on strong but we all know that she will end up with the strong ML.n more episodes!
Season 2 to resolve everything.
