Love movies

I feel like I'm in the minority on this one too. Acting was fine but so much useless fillers instead of focusing on the main and second actors' stories. Not enough development, just a series about a slice of life and maturing through that slice of life.
However, the 4 leads' performances were compelling and I want to make sure I watch their next dramas.

Me too! I'm watching it only because of Sung Hoon but there aren't enough scenes with him in it. He's playing a different role here but I'm waiting to see the "old" Sung Hoon sneak up! The rest of the stories are not that interesting but the last scene where the woman watched her husband die of a heart attack was well done. Yes, the heavy makeup on both the men and women is too much.

The ML in the Korean Fallen For Innocense was outstanding, you just reminded me to watch it over again :-)

Well said! Lots of inane conversations and not enough detailed process. There are a lot of empty spots where one scene doesn't follow the previous scene.

Interesting about the lawyer might be terminally sick. At the beginning he was so in love with his wife then all of the sudden he changed, even though she is pretty violent. You might be right. Let's watch and see. About your theory of the other two husbands we're going to have to wait. Thanks for your thoughts.

It's good that there are so many different dramas for us to choose from. I think different tastes depends on our life experiences, ages. demographics etc. I've been so tempted to write an article for MDL on my all time favorite Asian dramas - starting from 2013 on. Thanks for the reply!

Yes, in theory, concept is good and different. But there is a lot of repetition and dragging...and if they go back to the time that they were living together on the beach front, I'm going to scream! Comparing that to run-on, that captures some interesting emotions, there is no comparison. But I'll watch it to the end!

I"m not sure what the ring tone is but all the way through, the OTC Chopin's Waltz in A min. for piano. You can find it on Youtube. It's really a pretty piece of music. Hu describes it in detail in one of the episodes.

I agree, having seen most of his dramas, he just looks and acts lost. Pretty sad for such a great actor.

Run-on is wonderful - no extra fill-ins, acting of ML and FL is outstanding. In comparison, Love Struck is pretty much of a failure. I watched it because of Chang Wook but even he didn't seem to know what he was doing in the drama, even though he is one of the best K-drama actors.

I agree with you! It is so strange to see him in the new role. I just watched Ep 1. I keep expecting him to act like his previous dramas (which I watched over and over again :-) but am now ready to watch this handsome and talented man act in a new more adult role. In his new role, he even looks different.

Thank goodness for that! Teen and college dramas are good for a younger set.

Sung Hoon isn't acting like his previous dramas like My Noble Love, Secret Love etc. He seems more grown up and older which makes him qualified for a more serious role. (I still liked him in his romcom roles however)

I definitely agree with you. I was planning on giving uptoo but the writers brought it back to the present.

I had the same problem with Boss and me on UTube - fuzzy, hard to watch. Zhang is one of my most favorite actors. I've looked everywhere but no luck
