from ep 1 to ep 27 I would give it a 10/10. But from ep 28/29 I would give it an 8.5 overall. Disappointing in many ways.

I agree with you, the last two episodes had a lot missing with regard to the child. It was a bit scrambled.
I loved the ending at the gas station where he said he would remember her even her ashes.
To me, Ep 28 and 29 were not as good as the rest of the series. But that's just me.

The child looked shy and that she didn't want to be there under the cameras. It was not a good spot in the almost-perfect series - they should have picked a child that was more accustomed to her surroundings.

Yes, that's what got me wondering what kind of role he was going to play in the SWAT team now that he has a family. Hopefully, we will find out. Two more days right?

I wonder if there will be something coming out that could possibly replace it.....I doubt it - it's too perfect.

It's a wonderful series (2014)- and the same main couple is in a new series called Family: The Unbreakable Bond (2023).
It's very romantic but there are some stumbling blocks with the ML's health scare.
I liked it very much, mainly for the ML.

I am picky too - I have been rewatching Road Home early episodes that I watched too quickly.
I tried to cover as much as I could but I'm sure I left some points out.

Yes, Road Home is on a different level in many ways:

Unresolved fervent love for many years
A choice between Love and Duty
Two great actors of recognizable talent
Superb lines were written by the novelist who also I understand helped write the script
A great level of satisfaction to the watcher
No side people that create serious problems for the 2 main characters

I like Fated to Love you (watched it 3 times)
