It's not toxic - it is just how some commenters feel. The comments that you call toxic are not. They are reasonable and based on age facts. Some people feel that the appearance of age difference is just too much. Also, if they dressed the FL a little more up-to-date, the contrast would not be as visible.
I realize that she doesn't want to attract any male toward her and I can understand that being in her position.

There are two sides to this argument - please respect both sides. Some people feel that she looks to old compared to the ML and some people don't care. Both sides have their own reasons and they should be respected.
Ikr because if based on the age timeline, FL should be mid or late 30s, but the actress is 50. It’s kinda off…
IMO, there are two problems: 1) the casting, I feel that the choice for the FL is wrong. She should have been closer to his age. 2) secondly, they dress FL like a much older person - the selection of clothes and the hairstyle is out of sync for this 2023 drama.

Thanks Cleo_007! I'm finally cleared up on that issue. After all that we might find out that it was just a theory that many of us (including me) thought so from the beginning. He was acting too protective.
So to clarify the assistant had a sister who committed suicide? Did the assistant also have a mother that got killed? Does the assistant have a brother who was found guilty and later released for the murder of his mother? or he doesn't have a brother and it was the assistant who possibly killed his mother?
I think that might be true but I think there is something more to the story of the assistant from a few years…
