I see a lot of people mad at Dohoe, and that's obviously the way we're supposed to feel. Of course, they've edited…
Agreed - Hwang Da Seul's series have a fair amount of pathos intricatlly woven into storytelling and I actually like it because that happy ending we get feels even more satisfying in the end β¨
Hwang Da Seul is taking us on another journey that will pull at our heartstrings in the most perfect, devastatingly beautiful way and I am all here for it β¨π
I will sound selfish for bit, but my romantic heart really wished they gave us a glimpse into the future after the timeline of Unintentional Love Story, just to wrap it up with a nice little happy ending. Regardless, the actors and the crew did a great job, the main leads are amazing together with their chemistry of great potential! π Hopefully, we get to see them in a new project soon (if we don't get the season 2 that is) π€π
I had a feeling this series will be good, but it managed to surpass my expectations on every level be it casting-wise or production-wise π The scene when Jiang Tian had a talk with his mom was one of the best acted scenes I've seen so far and I've seen my share of series - body language reflecting the seriousness of the talk so perfectly, the facial expressions, their tears, gradual acceptance... I felt like I stumbled upon the conversation between them in real life, it was that natural in its performance π If they keep up the quality for the remaining episodes, this will easily be my absolute favourite Taiwanese BL π
It's the (micro) expressions for me - the subtle cute frustration visible in slight crease of Oab's brows when Plawan playfully kissed him anywhere but the lips, the way their eyes light up when they're near each other, the way Oab's eyes shined with hurt in the last scene due to Plawan's betrayal... When an actor knows how to use his face to convey the feeling and atmosphere of the scene, it gives it that much more layer and meaning. Also, their chemistry is amazing, I would definitely love to see them in more projects together πβ¨
Imagine, if you will, a love story thatβs not just about swooning over a dashing hero or pining after a long-lost…
One of the most well written comments (and truest in its main message) I've read on any series so far and I've watched my share of series and read my share of comments πβ¨
This became one of my favourites - there's quality acting from all the main leads, their chemistry is on point and the story is flowing at the right pace ππ
There's a special kind of appeal in japanese shows, to me they always bring a breath of fresh air with their cinematography, acting, atmosphere, humor, everything actually and this one is no different π The leads are gorgeous, their chemistry is on point and I especially love how Makoto knows what he wants and won't settle for anything but the best for himself. That last scene by the river when he said what he had to say and gave Takashi that subtle but sassy "I-know-my-worth" nod was chef's kiss π Can't wait to see their relationship's progress!
Hopefully, we get to see them in a new project soon (if we don't get the season 2 that is) π€π
