All of the male leads are schemers? What is TSJ scheming?

People keep saying shes in love with Xiang Liu because of the bug thing but why? He did nothing worthy for her to love him. did she fell for him because she was turned on when he was sucking on her neck? Or her heart fluttered when hes choking her or beating her? Jing constantly helps her and flirts with her and you can totally tell she likes him too, but because of her past she rather hurt herself than accept his love. She doesnt do this with Xiang Liu, did she accepted his love because he already constantly hurts her so no need for the test?

Thats weird... after finding out who her father is and the grand emperor removing her from the family ledger. She becomes the eldest daughter to the Xi Ling clan, but if shes adopted then how would that work. She also wanted that so she had the same status as TSJ.
