I absolutely loved this drama (except those god aweful cgi-wings). The show made me cry multiple times and I could never figure out how the ending would be. The only thing that annoys me with a lot of dramas, including this on, is the very last ending. The last episode was really beautiful and seemed to round up every caracter, but then at the very end they make Kim Dan human all of the sudden without really any explanation as to how or why. It made it feel incomplete. Like they were rounding up the story but then after an afterthought decided to make him human to please the audience, while it doesnt really fit anymore. Idk kdrama's always do this sort of thing, which ruins the ending for me. If youre gonna make it a 'sad' ending then stick to it. Dont make it seen like a sad ending but then literally changing it in the last minute. Because it doesnt make sense considering literally the whole storyline was about him not being able to be human
Try to continue watching it. I have finally completed it after 2 yrs after multiple stops-none due issues with…
Yea true, ironically enough, the show got better after episode 5. The show isn't bad but its not as great as people said it to be. While the scenes where beautiful, there were a lot of problems with things like the cast which bothered me quite a lot. I really liked the ML as a caracter but I was honestly more invested in the second romance storyline????
I've been wondering this myself but now I think that it got so popular because both of its leads are extremely…
Yea I can totally see how it became so popular in Korea itself, but as a foreigner the english speaking scenes were just extremely painful and cringey to watch. They couldn't have choosen worst actors if they tried???? So the foreign popularity is definitely a mystery to me.
I'm new to K-drama so excuse me if I come off as someone hating on K-drama but is it me or are most K-dramas just…
Yea I agree, in kdrama's, I feel like they think the romance aspect is more important than the storyline itself. Though I have to say that DOTS got better after a while due to some more action, the romance is still in the forefront. Which is kinda normal seeing it's a romantic drama, but still. The only drama I enjoyed which is for a more mature audience and isn't about romance is the drama SKY Castle. It's one of my fave drama's. The first episode is kinda boring but it gets better the more the plot progresses. Highly recommend
Can anybody tell me why this drama got so popular? I kept holding off watching this since this was the only really popular drama I hadn't watched yet, but instead of falling in love with it I'm kinda disappointed. I'm at ep 5 right now and to be honest it's not bad by any means but I'm not really excited to keep watching it like I am with other drama's. The female lead is also kinda annoying to me, she seems kinda rude. Idk, was it just all hype because the couple got married irl or something?
