I don't regret watching this, but I understand the critics this drama have received. Despite everything I still…
Some shows make it obvious by putting that product dead center in the frame, but this show takes the cake omg. Not @ Lee Gon talking about every sponsored product saying its 'the same as we have in the palace'. Talk about subtlety
perhaps the worst scenes are the ones where tae-eul breaks down in tears because of lee gon. i'm so lost cause…
I really like both actors, i feel they just got screwed by the storyline lol. Tae-eul also keeps crying about the fact that Lee Gon is gone for 'such a long time', while (if i'm even able to follow the timeline at all since everything is very confusing) it seems to me that Lee Gon was usually gone for a week/two weeks at most(in the beginning), which tbh, what do you expect when you have a boyfriend thats a KING who has to travel through A DIFFERENT PARALELL?
I'm at the end of episode 15 rn so MAYBE (hopefully) things will make sense in the end but honestly, I understand nothing of what is going on. The idea of a paralell universe is very cool to me but they should have made it less complicated. It's really hard to follow and they keep adding new things which makes it even more confusing. Like cool, they can travel to a different universe where there's another one of you. But then time stops, and then time stops for longer each time, and then there's this weird inbetween thats not really explained, and then they can time travel?! Like seriously, dont make it so complicated. I cant even root for one of the different endings/possibilities, BECAUSE I DONT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THEM
Coincidentally enough, the shows I've watched before this one were Mr. Sunshine and Prison Playbook, so it was a really pleasant surprise to see the actors from those shows appear in this one as well
While there is many great things to comment about from this series, I just want to say this cast is AMAZING. I've watched quite a bit of kdramas so it was really fun to see lots of my favorite actors appear in this show
Words can't explain how bad this show is omg. This literally looks like a show made by highschool students for a project or something. I love the concept of this show but the excecution is so bad omg.. It's not funny at all, and the moments it could be about 1% funny, they killed it by putting in these awful sound effects. The acting is also bad, but at least this shows you how good of an actor lay is. Since the rest cant act to save their life, it makes Lay stand out even more. Dont understand how people gave such good reviews of this ‘show’. I wouldn't even want to call it a legit tv show
I mean, i know everything about these types of shows are ridiculous and should not be taken too seriously, but it kinda freaks me out how the female lead is literally a sixteen year old highschool girl, dating/setting up to be married to a 23+ year old.. Thats literally illegal. Also the actor playing Takane looks like a child in a suit lmao, he does not look like a grown-up businessman at all
I had to cry so bad at the end omg :( I think the story is really cool and original, but I didnt like the main leads at all. The male lead reminded me of that plastic barbie guy bc his face looked like he had a lot of plastic surgery done lol. And the girl made me cringe so bad, but maybe also bc she played this really cringe-worthy fangirl character
He was crying at a photo of Sarawat and Tine high-fiving. Boy was looking into the future and didn't like what…
LMAO but yea honestly though. If you listen carefully, you can hear me crying in despair all the way from the netherlands. We weren't asking for much, but dude, a HIGHFIVE .. no words
Also, now that it's finished, I just want to say that Bright CANNOT act. The director was clever to film the back…
Lmao yea i agree, they clearly just cast him because of his pretty face. Especially at the end, Sarawats character was just really flat and boring, and not all of it is to blame on the bad script. And Bright had that one particular face where he's just staring with this awkward smirk, which annoyed me so much hhh. Idk, while I thought Win was actually a great actor, it seemed like Bright regretted ever agreeing to play in a BL and just wanted to get it over with
The episode aired for me in the morning so after I was done watching it I was left with so many mixed feelings…
Have you watched Dark Blue Kiss yet? While that show isn't perfect either (though it seems no one is able to make a perfect BL series), DBK is one of my favorites. The relationship in that show is more mature than other shows i've watched (and I dont mean mature as in sex) and shows a more realistic and healthy relationship. Also DBK is a continuation of Kiss me again, where Kao and Pete were a side couple instead of the main. In Kiss me again it shows how they got together but you dont have to watch that one if you dont want to (that show was awful except for Kao/Pete) And also, sorry for this long post lol, I'm bad at keeping things short
This show had so much potential, since the actors are really good as well, so I'm really disappointed D; Whether its the scripts fault or the actors, the chemistry wasn't there. Maybe because there weren't a lot of moments/scenes where they were able to show the chemistry, but ever since they officially got together, they just seemed like best friends. Sarawat liked Tine for a really long time, but when they finally got together, he didn't even put in any effort, which wouldnt make any sense. And when Tine broke up with him he didn't even go after him? Definitely a problem with the script
Does anyone know if this show is also translated by someone else other than the one with the yellow subtitles? Because they're not very accurate, and for some reason the keep putting 'he' when they're talking about the girl and 'her' when they're talking about the guy. The subs are very annoying
I was watching Cinderella and the four knights and I was like "hmm I swear I've seen her before in another show..." And omg she played in freaking Parasite! She's such a good actrice, I couldn't even recognize her
Also DBK is a continuation of Kiss me again, where Kao and Pete were a side couple instead of the main. In Kiss me again it shows how they got together but you dont have to watch that one if you dont want to (that show was awful except for Kao/Pete)
