Wise decision my friend.

Good to know you'll give Korea a chance :) So, what are you watching these days.

I'm still one piece. Don't worry, dear friend!

Yup, yup! I want to celebrate. *Can we have some cake?* Whatever, I encourage every thought of celebration these days no matter how absurd or meaningless.
The world needs more happiness, right?

I think I'll join the 'eating party' eventually. Truth be told, the mystery thing never really attracted me but the romance being flat is a serious bummer! I'm afraid to even ask about this episode 14.

Why can't he get married?? *You don't need to know my theories on the subject ;P*

P.S: Where's your 2014 list?

So your big secret is good old 'time management' and I thought you've found a mystical time machine :P Actually, I have so much respect for well-organized people because I'm.. the complete opposite.

I'll have to fix this horrible trait soon before it ruins my life -.-

Now dramaland update: I'm done with CP. I finally dropped E.R couple. I didn't complete the movie yet. I dunno if I'll watch anything soon. I'm both busy and bored of dramas. I think I'll read books for now. I might start reading 'Les Miserables'.

What about you, Sunbae? Still in a drama/film slump?

We have a local channel that dubs K-drama too. They make them stupid and suck away most of their charm -.- So, I understand where are coming from.

Heyyy! Welcome back ^_^

I'm doing well, thank you. Glad to hear your trip was awesome.

Btw, 'Sunshine' was my nickname in high school. It's so sweet of you to call me that and it brings back sweet memories. Thank you ^^

You're probably right about the melodrama thing. If they don't cast amazing actors with refreshing and interesting story, I won't even bother to check out.

You managed to get past an episode? *pats you on the shoulder* Good job my Arashi! I'm so proud of you! *lol*
Yeah, the female lead and her 'brilliant' ideas would never fail to please you. Ooh! the male-lead pouted? My mind seems to repress this memory. Should I be sad :D? The bubble scene *lol*: Honestly, I never understood her brilliant motives or feelings either. All the bubbles made me envious though (I spend 40-65 minutes for my average shower and I don't even fill the tub :P)

Hello Pien! Sorry for the late reply my friend I've been busy in that place known as 'real world' and I haven't been exactly 'craving' Asian TV lately. I dropped Emergency Couple too :P

I think I'll read books for a while before I find my way back to dramaland.

I'm sure Ice World isn't like anything I've watched before which can be a good (refreshing) and bad (maybe not my taste at all?) thing at the same time. Anyways, I'll wait for a time when I have enough bravery to venture out of my comfort zone. After all, watching a drama in the wrong mind-set and mood could ruin the whole experience, right?

Hope you've enjoyed your weekend :)

I've watched it in Korean with English subs ^_^

I wonder how you find time for studying, internship, anime, drama, books, and social life! That's just wow!

About Only You Can Hear Me, it's not really my liking. I should stop watching movies because ppl write that they're awesome in their comment section. I still have the last part which must be the big reveal. I'll judge it after I watch that :)

Hehehehehe! I'm braver than what you think. Actually, I've said it out loud for everyone to read before and one fan girl promised she won't eat me alive :) I'll believe in that.

Good news. Now, I won't bother. Also, I'll delete Air Doll from my list. The term 'sex doll' alone gives me the creeps.

Between me and you, it gets cold on cloud nine if you stay up there for a while. How's Let's Eat treating you?

Well, I doubt it works for tea as well :)

Did I say original! I meant the undubbed version. I am one person who hates dubbing.

Welcome, I was planning on explaining my stand on Taiyo no Uta but now that you've calmed down I won't disturb you again. *The male lead's dimples are some work of art btw*

I'm not really a Yoo Chun fan and it's not on my Plan-to-Watch list but I might give it a try. Maybe it's what I need.

Maybe I SHOULD watch EIA. I'm having second thoughts :P :P :P

*LOL* I was about to write you back. I don't remember I've ever sympathized with the sick sister too. Such a brat.

That wasn't the most brilliant proposal either. Stupid and opportunistic.

Come on! I won't rip it into shreds! What do you see me as?? I wasn't planning on watching it now either. Relax.

You know what? You're right! Time for me to move on already. Maybe I'll rate it 9 now. It was always meant to be nine. *bad joke :P*

I've read about Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi in CheerfulSoul's underrated dramas of the Year article. Her review got me interested and now you're recommending it too. Time to add it to my ever-growing Plan To Watch List.

P.S: I've seen you recommended Ice World to another friend on the feed and it's on my Plan to watch list too.

It's from Coffee Prince.

Is it as bloody as the title suggests?? I'm afraid I don't like violence and blood!

Can I ask how old are you? I'm twenty one.

Yup, only one dubbed drama. I've heard about the dubbed Sam Soon and Jewel in the Palace but I never gave them a try. I agree on anime too (although I don't watch them anymore) but last year, I've watched one in Japanese because a dear friend said the female lead reminds him of me :P So, I get your point. Plus, dubbed anime are often censored and I don't believe they are true to the original script.

Nope, I haven't dropped it but I think I should.

Well, he looks really hot in the photo. Whom am I kidding? He looks hot in every time I see him.

I know there was a disastrous Korean remake of Jin. I didn't watch the original or remake. Is it good? I see you kinda prefer J-drama. Do you have any good recommendations that would fit my taste? (I like romance but I would take something without it if the story is great).

My first K-drama was Winter Sonata. I still have nightmares because of its awful dubbing. I know about MBC's dubbed K-drama -.- I can't stand them! I hate dubbing in general and I don't watch dubbed-anything. I think it deforms the original dialogues and dampens the performances. Come on! An actor's recital of his line, his voice, and his intonations are all part of his performance. All of these vanish with dubbing.

We're definitely different when it comes to movie/dramas: I guess it's because I enjoy a show as much as I love/get attached to its characters. No matter how bad a drama is, I would come to like/care about at least one character in its 10-16 hours span whereas it's hard for me to start caring about characters in only 2 hours or so, unless it's a great great movie like 3-Iron, Ahjussi, and The Crucibles.

See, the fault is me :)

Okay :)

It's funny I haven't watched MNIKSS dubbed :P I don't like dubbed anything! Okay, you're right! Apologies to Mr. Alien. His co-star did a fantastic job carrying the show on her shoulders and the second male lead was nice :)

Believe me when I tell you there's nothing melo about Taiyo no Uta! The lady knows her sickness and is more than ready for what awaits her. And the atmosphere is very bright. The title Midnight Sun fits it perfectly because it's not dark or dreary at all. It's just that I'm 10000 times meaner on movies than dramas.

Took a little break from dramas. The weather has been nice and I was trying to revive old hobbies. I still have 4 episodes from CP. I'm not looking forward to the other dramas I've been watching.
