My friend Arashi, You're back <3 I've missed you ^_^
Glad you liked it. There was a pic of the gorgeous Matsuda Shota too. Liar Game was nice. Thought-provoking and intense. The best scenes were when Nao was acting super naive and Akiyama gives her that weird look. lol. I've completed Pride in your absence. I thought it was very good. Nice romance and I liked the leads. (9/10)
I'm really liking INR3 although it's far from being perfect. It has the sweet vibe of In Time with You but it's not as well-done. EC can be funny and/or infuriating . I dunno why I'm still watching. Secret was amazing if only for the piano playing. Breathtaking.
Agree on Gong Hyo Jin. She has natural charm but I've never liked the characters I've seen her playing.
Potential spoiler for AGD:
Have they kissed through a window glass yet -.-#?
Belated Happy Valentine. Welcome Back chingu :)

The premise of Air Doll sounds promising and deep. I hope it doesn't have explicit bed scenes. I'll watch it when I'm in the mood. The premise of Wedding Game sounds interesting. Nothing fresh though. I'm still not sure about watching a Chinese movie.
I've watched the first two episodes of Bara no nai Hanaya. They were okay. Japanese dramas usually start slow for me. I mostly get invested after episodes 3 or 4. (There are some exceptions of course like Long Love Letter). So, I still feel cold about Hanaya right now. I dunno. I might watch a movie tonight. Honestly, I'm drained today :(

*lol* You hate kids in dramas. Children have their own way of changing things around them (be it drama or real life). They cause trouble wherever they go and they always get away with it because they're cute XD lol.
I had no idea that Pien is short for Josephine :P My knowledge of Dutch is flat zero. So you have five names? That's a lot! Do people use them all or you just stick to your birth name? (I'm sorry I have an obsession with names, I know I'm weird :P). Yes, Lumiere means light which is also the meaning of my real name. I obviously lack innovation creating a unique user name :P

Let's see. I've been skimming through your list (wow, it's like a drama encyclopedia. I'll start using it as a reference :P) and we have things that we agree on like A Gentleman's Dignity, Orange Days, Tatta Hitotsu No Koi, School 2013 and of course there're some dramas where we drastically disagree like In Time with You & Strawberry on the Shortcake ;P
I've started watching Bara no.. and it's definitely interesting. The little girl is the definition of 'kawai', isn't she?
I've just finished the movie 'Secret' and I gave it an 8 just like you did. There's still hope. Our tastes aren't completely diametrically opposite.
P.S: I've always wanted to ask you what's the meaning of Pien. Just sheer curiosity :)

Pride was mildly amusing till episode 5 but it magically escalated in the second half. I dunno what happened. I fell in love with Halu and Aki. :D
Yeah, it's sad to ditch dramas that you've already downloaded. It would feel like a waste of time and effort :P And, isn't nice to venture out of your comfort zone once in a while. After all, you might find some hidden gems. *maybe*.
I do like Slice of Life films but those tend to be slow and a bit dreary. So, I have to be in the mood to watch them. I also like rom-com (I know I'm a lost cause :P) but I've been disappointed by most of the rom-com I tried. Btw, I've just finished Secret. Taddaaaa. I like it (8/10). Ultimately, it's a simple story but it's well-told. The music was breathtaking.

Heyyyy :)
Guess what? I've finally come to watch Secret. Hurray! I know it's been ages but it was so worth it :D
The music is more than amazing; it's breathtaking. I think I'll never get bored of watching those two playing the piano. And that piano duel left me speechless :D I still wish I wasn't spoiled. Overall, it was a good story, well-acted with refreshing atmosphere but the music is hands down the movie's true star. I can totally understand why you liked it.
I've noticed your hearts on the feeds aren't invisible anymore :)
P.S: Have all the dramas you're watching decided to suck at the same time so you banished them into the dreary on-hold land?

Okay, I've just finished Pride and 'Maybe' I love it. Just kidding :P Must be I love it :)
Orange Days is a very exceptional drama(not too mushy and it never feels preachy or pretentious). Glad you've given it a chance.
Mmm.. Actually I like movies. It's just that I'm not a horror or violent watcher. I'm not particularly interested in mystery or melodrama or even pure comedy. That automatically limits my movie choices, right?
I love to see movies centering around a great love or a great cause. The best ones I've seen till today are definitely '3-Iron' and 'Ahjussi'. 'The Crucibles' come to mind too. I honestly forgot most of the rest I've seen. Plus, I like to re-watch the films I love over and over again but somehow I never felt like re-watching any Asian film (Ahjussi and The Crucibles are too depressing). Maybe I'm trying the wrong kinds. Do you have any good recommendations?

Hehehe! I'm not sure about how you'd like I Need Romance 3. We don't exactly have the same taste so it you could hate it for the same reasons I'm loving it :P I've just finished Pride and it's a straight 9/10.
Good. As for the alien drama for me, it felt like someone brought different pieces of different things and tried to glue them together. I hate it the editing and the ost.
So, Bara no nai Hanaya it is. No romance though?

It's similar to yours. I'm not really fond of Noona-romance and a big age gap always irks me even if it was older guy-younger woman. Nevertheless, I wouldn't care at all if the story convinces me that the couple are just two persons who fell in love with each other without any regard to their age and they really belong to one another. I hate teacher-student romances or when the guy seems to be looking for a mother rather than a woman. I hate it when they make their 'age difference' the end of the world too >.<
My favorite Noona-romance is Dal Ja Spring and I Need Romance 3 is doing a good job making me like it.
LOL! Alien guy lived on earth for 400 years but he couldn't learn showing humane emotions. I guess once an alien, always an alien :P And yeah! Emergency Couple is such a weird drama I have no idea why I keep on watching it.
I'm considering Bara no nai Hanaya.Too melodramatic?

I think messing up medicine is part of their job. lol. Dr. House irritates me like nobody else does.
It doesn't feel right to compare INR3 to Pride. They've got a different vibe. Pride probably has a better script, acting and a much more mature vibe. INR3 can be thoughtful and sensitive at times but overall it doesn't escape your usual Korean ridiculousness and exaggerations. I still think it's good compared to your usual K-fluff.
Aww! Orange Days is awesome. I love everything about it from the amiable naturalness among the friends, to Sae's powerful performance that speaks through silence and Kae's overwhelmingly generous heart that can move mountains with kindness. See? you say Orange Days and I can't stop blabbing. *Gomenasai*
Let me know what you think about it :) Enjoy!

I'm liking it just fine :) It's funny but I'm not in love with the female lead. (Sorry! I know you're a big fan of her but she annoys the hell outta me).
