What’s with the hate for this drama? It is way too early. Frankly, if you feel like they’re using the same tropes over and over, stop watching it. You have to remember that most of modern dramas will probably be filmed the same time using similar plots, but they are broadcast at different points so YES, it can seem repetitive. That’s why you should switch between genres so you don’t have trope burn out.

HongYe sacrifices himself and 3 years later XiaoYao master some technique that allows her to go back to a time period in her memory that she wants, and she goes back to the time they first met in their third life and he’s setting up her room. It makes me sad because will this change the future for them where they figure a way for him not to sacrifice himself or is she only trying to relive those moments in that one timeline.

I skipped and watched the ending and I am still processing. I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Episode 12, min 42:32, the subordinate said “that page boy qing yun had ill intentions”. What I’m saying is that because he was poisoned he didn’t have the same capability to have fallen within his control. I mean, he did catch that branch until the poison got to him and made him loose strength because he could’ve pretended that he was poisoned, but he was actually poisoned.

I think he did plan for this to all happen but did not take in account of the “page boy” poisoning him ( which was mentioned in episode 12 that he was suspicious of him). I think if he wasn’t poisoned, his fall wouldn’t have led to his amnesia. In the flashback, it shows that he was holding onto one of the branches, but the poison got to him.
