He came back to life, but part of him is still connected to the spirit realm (half ak gwi). In other words, he gained a second chance, but he still carries the burden and consequences of his connection to the spirits. That ending left me with so many questions and theories. I really can’t wait for Season 2 because I need to know what this means for Gu cheon and whether he’ll ever truly be free from the spirit world 😭
