Like are they that confident that they will earn the money back? Isnt it better to save moneyand cast a less popular actor? Xinli has always dissapointed me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Poor YZ got so much hate back then for being 1st billed and they did nothing. She even had to defend herself and speak out and even gave up her 1st billing. Kris wu literally changed a fl centric novel into a ml centric drama like who even is he to act so arrogant. He only got his so called looks which isnt very appealing imo. But I gotta admit the ml character did suit him, arrogant just like him, so he dn't even need to act to play the character. They have thr same personality. It was crazy coz she had already got bullied so much while filming TOOL right before TGP. Recently a staff revealed that she saw yz secretly crying in the room. I dont know why th staff only reveals it now after like more than 3 years. Back then I wished she wouldnt take TGP though I loved the books because the moment I saw KW name I knew it was over. Ik why she would have accepted it because it is a character that she rlly wanted to play before. She got hate even though she signed the contract first way before he did. For now I'll support her if she rlly wants to reshoot coz I do feel bad for all the casts who worked so hard including her. But did u know YZ doesn't benefit from the reshooting coz she is doing it for free. 😭 Working so hard just to not let the casts and crews effort go to waste.

I honestly am still against their choice of ml for that. Why did they pick kris wus bestie for? Is he worth the risk? If it ends up being delayed coz of him again I honestly am gonna riot. there are so many talented less popular actors who would be willing to act but they had to choose him? He even asked for 2 S+ dramas in return. Do they wanna even wanna save somemoney for the reshoot. They've lost enough as it is. I have no hope for the drama so my expectations are now rlly low.

rewatching years later made me realize how cringe this acc was. Will keep my rating the same just for the vibes. After all I once was obsessed with this show mainly coz of their chemistry. I have watched all versions but this one gotta be my least favourite still. Not the best but not the worst either.
