Nope tonghua the author herself confirmed that zhuan xu was always the main lead even in the book. You can even search it up. Ye shi qi was never the main lead. Ik it wasn't obvious in the book coz normally you would assume the guy she ends up with to be the main lead but that's not always the case.

Coz tencent is getting broke these days they only have tlp and lyf so they wanna air them both during the summer vacation but i don't understand their tactic coz it is the dummest thing for them to do. Ig they are rlly desperate and this just confirms their slow bankruptcy. But lyf was always supposed to air in late july anyhow. They weren't rlly prioritizing that tbh since so far they been gatekeeping all its materials even when its been a yr since filming. They only just started releasing materials towards its airing. Ig they wanted to finally release tlp but i don't understand why they couldn't do so earlier. They had so many opportunities to air it but they just had to squish it together with lyf.
