Ppl who complain abt age must be teens under 18 coz idk which grown adult would care abt age that much. We live in a world where older woman younger men relationships are normal. Im gonna be honest when I was a kid i also found the idea of dating a younger man weird but now i'm older i don't mind it at all. I remember my phase of skipping dramas with that concept and now im watching them every chance i get.

Yes this is what I was trying to say. You explained it well. There are some ppl who wanted deng wei to play the ml role and some who wanted him to be xiang liu but deng wei himself auditioned for the role of jing. Clearly there must be a reason why. The ml role is complicated so i dont understand why ppl expect him to play such a challenging role when he is still a new actor. The only thing hes gonna get is hate. He still has time to improve and widen his acting range and jing is also different from his previous roles. I personally think it isnt easy playing jing coz he is supposed to be such a perfect character and its hard to make the audience believe that but im sure he will be able to based on the reuters. The only downside of his character is that hes a pushover. But his good qualities make up for that and I hope the audience realises that.
