Xuan zhu sat on the king seat, but there were tears in his eyes, because he lost Xiaoyao who belonged to him forever and the scattered phoenix petals on the ground symbolise that he has lost Xiao Yao. He was won his career but lost his only love. Jing put down everything in his heart, and he still had Xiaoyao in his heart as seen in the painting, and the last gift Xiangliu left Xiayao the wooden doll (xiangliu is holding the doll which is his reply to her confession of love) AAAAH IM EXCITED FOR TRAILER TOMORROW

Ngl i hated his character in I am the years you are the star. I think he played his character well coz boy he got on my nerves since his character was a brat. But I've seen him in sassy beauty and I think he has potential playing the sweet and gentle type.
Deng wei had auditioned for the role of jing by himself so for those complaining abt him not playing xiangliu then u should understand now that he must have had his reasons but at least he got the role fair and square. Playing the character of xiang liu would be tough for him since its a well loved and difficult to play character and expectations would be too high so a more experienced actor would be suited to play him. Jing isnt bad anyways he got the girl at the end. He won out of all of them and he is the official match.
Sad that if this comes out before the chinese version this will be known as the original. š but anyways at least I get to see the novel come to life and looks like the c version aint coming out any time soon.
